Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners Reviews
My psychology license was revoked in 2005. I belonged to a group of psycologists who confronted the board about their corrupt behaviors. As a resukt they began finding ways to take out license away. This is what they did to me. I was working with a group of psychologists to confront the board about their behaviors.
At the same time i was working with a guy who wanted to save his marriage htand I told him she had to be here in order for that to happen. He asked me to call her. I did and when she came in i found out that there was an order of protection and they couldnt be in the same room together. So i started working with them separately for 5 months. They stoppe therapy went back together. 3 months later she came back and asked me to be her therapist again. I asked why and she said that he beat her up broke her ribs and threw her thru a window. She was done with the marriage.
So we started working again. He wanted her back and so he took her off the insurance thinking I would not work with her anymore. But i kept on cause by that time she was burning and cutting hetrself. I was not going to just abandon her. The husband was very upset and stopped coming to the office. In the meantime he was working to get her name off of the mortgage and was successful. She was living in her car and didnt even have access to a shower. But i kept working with her. Now the wife asked me for the name of a lawyer and i told her i had done some free work with one so with her permission i would take him to dinner and see if he would work with her for free. I did and he said he would. They got into an argument and she went to another lawyer. She had that one draw up a letter giving me her portion of the sale of the house. I didnt want it but I was afraid that one more rejection would cause her to take her own life. So i just held on to the letter feeling that i would get her over the suicide hump and then have her go resend the letter.
The husband found the letter and filed a complaint against with the licensing board. The board accused me of entering into a conspiracy with the attorney for taking him to dinner and talking him into working with her for free. With the letter they called me a loan shark. They suspended my license for a year. My lawyer warned me telling me that they were after me cause of my part of the group of psychologists who confronted them.
Now at the same time i was seeing woman who made it very clear she was looking for a way to sue someone. She had a boyfriend in Florida and a husband here i Arizona who worked for the post office. I actually was glad to get rid of her. I referred her out like i did the rest of my clients. She called me one day and wanted to know what i would do with the guys i had been seeing. I told her i wanted to interview them cause i wanted to write a book about men and masculinity. She was tape recording the whole conversation and left me threatening voicemails telling me if i didnt pay her out of court she would file a complaint against me with the board and tell them i continued working with her. I have saved the voicemails.
My lawyer did some investigation and he told me that the board put her up to doing all this. He also ysaid that he did some investigating and found out that the board put her up to filing the complaint. I decided to write them a letter and tell them to stick their license at the advice of my lawyer. I am looking for some help getting it back. I am a disabled vet and want to go to work at the VA and help my fellow vets. I am writing to you for some assistance. I lotve working with people and helping them grow and that is why i got into mental health helping people
