Our air conditioner went out about a little over a month ago when carla who is very rude said it would be approx. a week which was okay since we would be out of town, called them when we got back she says okay tomorrow. well it was 2 days later. they came out said we needed a evaporator coil that they picked up and lo and behold it goes out one day and half later. called again left message after message, to which carla finally responded that I would have to wait because there were people ahead of me. to which I said we are a call back, we should have priority, she was rude and said no.
Anyway they come back and said now we need freon it needs to be charged at 100.00 lb. and throw away the evaporator unit charge of 75.00 plus a 75.00 service fee. they do the work and it went out again, they come back a few days later and say we need a whole new unit, they are letting the insurance comany know that. in the meantime i call the insurance co. who says they haven't heard from argo, so i call 15 to 30 times karla keeps telling me the order is at the top of the paperwork and will be the first one ordered, which was a lie, insurance co. says nothing has been ordered. So I continue bugging the insurance company so they could possibly make argo get a move on. so we paid them 784.00 for nothing.
i called the insurance co. and told them i was fed up with argo and i wanted someone else they said they would see what they could do, in the meantime we rented a place for about a week and half. finally the new company came our made a few adjustments recharged the air conditioner cause it had all leaked out from something argo didn't do right and now we have another problem.
when argo replaced the evaporator line they did not line it up correctly so the water would drain outside and we thought we had a pipe leaking outside come to find out that in the area of the air conditioner all our carpet is wet even into the hallway. all of this because of argo, didn't do right by us. we spent alot of money last month and we feeling the pinch this month believe me. repair charges, hotel charges and carpet charges. beware don't call them!
