I needed a certified copy of my mother's death certificate. I placed the order 3/8/17. On 3/9/17, I have an email from archives.com advising I must print the form attached and make copy of my driver's license and mail both items to them. They could not process my order without those documents. I called explaining I can not print because I do not have a printer for my tablet. I was told again that my order could not be processed without them. I asked if I can cancel order and told I could. I sent cancellation email and they replied they could only refund part of my payment. They could not refund the $15 fee the Certificate Processing fee. This appears to be a scam as they were the ones telling me they could not process my order.

My Bank is being charged for services that I have Cancelled , several times, and their is no Phone number contact with, them, I have to Red Flag this with my Bank to decline any payment, because they are Scamming me for Cancelled Membership Services.
A few weeks ago I was trying to obtain legal documents and I was directed to Archives.com. I entered all the correct information they ask for and after I entered it the document I was looking for popped up. After it popped up the site then ask me for credit card information. I entered my credit card info and then it said failed attept.
I then logged into my credit card site to see if I could see the charge. The credit card site DID take the charge and Archives.com says they never received it. I had to file a dispute with credit card company and wait a month now to get my money back. I called my credit card company today and they said that Archives.com DID TAKE THE MONEY and it will be another 6 weeks before they can give me the money back.
I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE SERVICE I WAS ASKING FROM ARCHIVES.COM. The customer service was rude. I would not purchase any services from archives.com.
