Archdiocese of Detroit Reviews

  • Oct 26, 2018

In 1997 Rev. Dennis C. Laesch sexually assaulted a 17 year old boy after getting him severely intoxicated. Rev. Laesch of course denied the allegations, but was subsquently removed from ministry in 2007.

The Archdiocese of Detroit settled with the boys parents for $ 125,000.00; part of the out of court settlement Cardinal Adam Maida stated that Rev. Laesch would be sent to a monastery permanently.

To the surprise of many, no disciplinary action was taken just a reassignment to another Detroit Parish. Allegedly the word came from the Vaticam gave the order to remove Rev. Dennis Laesch from PUBLIC ministry as its way of complying with new rules from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

As of this posting, Rev. Dennis Laesch is violating that order still by working with St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Waterford, Michigan with a priest who Rev. Dennis Laesch has a friendship with since he was entering the seminary.

Rev. Dennis Laesch is also performing Weddings and Funerals even going as far as marryinf homosexual couples.

Rev. Dennis C. Laeaxh has an extensive resume, an Attorney by trade and also a former Eastpointe City Councikman, Rev. Dennis Laesch has faced being a susoect in his ex girlfriends murder, viciously assaulting a man, sexual assault while in the seminary and also disciplinary action by the Michigan Bar Association.
