In November of 2021 we contracted with Joe Debevoise, President of Aqua-Terra, Lake, Pond and Wetland Management to provide on going Environmentally friendly weed control on our large pond in our community. We hired Aqua-Terra as they had provided similar services to the community under contract with the development builder.
We paid for 1 year of service to commence 11/21 through 11/22 for application 1X per month. We provided a check to Joseph DeBevoise the President for $1,740.00 on 11/17/21. The check was cashed on 11/18/21 and no services were ever provided. We called the published number numerous times and sent email. This was followed by 2 certified letters to the home and office addresses. Both were returned as non-deliverable.
We then filed a police report with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office here in Hillsborough County Florida (Tampa Bay). At this writing (4/3/22) they are trying to locate Joe DeBevoise. We have never heard from Aqua-Terra services. I recommend you do not due business with this individual or Company.
