For the last 6 months i noticed my water bill was getting quite high and i complained to Aqua America about it, i had a leak and i fixed it, and my water bill got down to 80+ dollars, i can live with that cause $70 goes to sanitary sewer sevice, now they say i use 145 gallons of water per my last bill which is as much as what a jaccuzzi takes to fill up, that alot of water, and i live lone and i have no leaks so what the dot com is going on?
I was charged 60 dollars for sewer connection fee and 54 dollars for water connection fee . They didn't have to connect anything it was already here when I moved in. Then I received my first water and sewer bill I was charged 60 dollars monthly sewer fee and 31 dollars monthly water fee I used 1400 gallons of water my first month and my bill was 113.02 dollars that is outrageous. My second month I used 900 gallons and my bill is 102.84 dollars . I contacted the PUC got a really dumb explanation I don't know if they think I am dumb or if they are that dumb. I got nowhere with the state water and sewer commission iother the state doesn't care that this company sales us our state water and does it for an outrageous amount of money . This needs to be stopped
I reported a water leak in Aqua America's water line on the edge of our property. This is water that I pay for on my meter. The technician (David) stated there is a "small" leak, but it is not categorized as an "Emergency" leak so he could not fix it and he had no idea when it would be fixed. I spoke with our Home Owner's Association president, and he iterated that other residents on the same water line have complained about leaks, have reported the leaks to Aqua America, who have said the same thing and never repaired any of those leaks. So I am wondering if we -- the residents on this water line -- are collectively losing hundreds of gallons of water per year that we are paying for? Do we have the right to file a class action suit to reclaim all the money lost due to these "small" leaks? Has anyone else filed complaints about leaks in their lines and received the same type of response about how they "small" leaks so they don't really matter and they are not sure when they will get to repairing them? I would like to hear from [email protected].
