Just as with the previous customer with this company, I am on autopay and yet, they are telling me that I owe them over $200 for late fees and charges beginning in May of 2017? It's December and I am just NOW being notified about this? When my husband tried calling them and speaking with someone on their end, they didn't want to hear anything that we had to say and told us that if we didn't pay by the end of the month, that they were going to send our account out for collection and come pick the appliances up!!
What a complete ripoff!! DO NOT rent from these people at all!!
Back in Feb we contacted this company to get a 24" stackable gas washer and dryer. After being told the account was set up and the delivery date for the following day we ended the call. With money order in hand made payable to this company I waited for the delivery. By 2pm there was still no delivery. At 3pm a 87 yr old man showed up to deliver the washer and dryer, had no assistance, no way to bring it up the steps. When I called the company I was told they were not going to deliver the set and they were going to cancel the account. After 5 Days of fighting with this company I finally gave up.
Yesterday we were informed that this company does in fact deliver to the apartment complex we are in. Called again as last week they delivered 6 different units. We were again told they will not deliver to this complex and the office has to set the account up. After speaking to my office manager once again, I was told there is nothing they can do as they no longer hold an account with this company.
This company has a sales manager named John Durby who seems to think he can do and say anything. He doesn't realize that he told me they basically decided to not furnish washer and dryers here because the office cancelled their contract. THis practice is illegal and if the owner doesn't contact me to correct this issue I will inform the BBB and the Attrny General in both FL and TX.
