But then the site is not clear as to whether your order went through or not. And on the egift card itse it says "This gift card is usable up to balance only to purchase goods or services at any Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar (R) in the U.S. and Canada or through applebees.com. ... in bold print it says: PLEASE TREAT THIS EGIFT CARD LIKE CASH AND SAFEGUARD IT ACCORDINGLY ---> in fact it's not honored at the restaurant if you request it to be honored.
Fwiw - they issued the egift card to make up for an earlier event where their delivery service shortchanged the order... So this is now 2x in a row... Too bad they get so much right but the website is so wrong. Not worth the hassle when their are easier options like the Daily Habit and/or non-franchise local restaurants willing to provide real service instead of fake egift cards.
