HENRY VS APPLE

Round 1

Almost a year ago, I decided to buy an iPhone 6 plus, the large one.

After a couple of days I discovered that everytime I would search for a contact it would freeze for a couple of minutes until it would again get going at which point all the keys I had pressed would appear at once.

This became very annoying for obvious reasons.

I took the phone to the Apple Store, where they wasted 3 hours of my time and ended up replacing the phone and the new phone acting the exact same way. But the gig there informed me that the Apple engineers would receive all my information and I would receive news from Apple soon.

A month ago, it dawned on me that nobody had done nothing yet, so I called apple. I spoke with a lady: Yolanda Richard, who after an hour on the phone gave me a case number and promised she would get the issue fixed, she even said she would send me a coupon for $100 because of the inconvenience.

Today, after a few calls to Yolanda and emails, I spoke with a new guy: Carlos Cruz who identified himself as a Manager, empowered to bring a solution to my problem.... After 2 hours!!! Carlos said that there was nothing that could be done, except send some logs from my phone to the technicians at Apple to see if they would come up with a solution. I told him this was unacceptable, my phone now is old and they have a new model so most likely NOBODY at apple will be looking for solutions to a phone that they don't even sell anymore.

I asked if I could get an older or cheaper model phone, which I know don't have this problem, and he said no, that is NOT an option, the ONLY option is for me to cooperate with him to waste my time get those logs and all the stupid routine he wanted done so we can send those reports to Apple, and if Apple cannot or will not fix it, he cannot do anything else....

Isn't this like dealing with a crook? and not a regular crook, a cynic crook who laughs at you while telling you he is going to screw you.

If someone knows about any ongoing CLASS ACTION SUIT against Apple because of this or any other lemon law issue, please let me know I would like to be a part of it.

Or if nothing is being done and you have one of these pieces of crap, let me know, let's sue this company, At least have them spend a little more that what would cost to replace our phones for a decent device.

In May 2015 I purchased an IPhone 6 Plus from an Apple Store in the DC metro area and Apple admitted to the press that the device had major problems but would not accept it for full reimbursement when I attempted to return it. Because of the problems stated by a number of publishers such as Forbes I then added the two-year warranty to it. I only used the iPhone with a carrier for one day then began using it to for wifi and keeping records of meetings. 13 months after the purchase it locked up and would not unlock. I then did not use it all. Three months after that I took it to an Apple Store but employees had misspelled my email address and more.

They told me that I did not have the extended warranty, then said that a new iPhone had been provided, and said that I should come back in 24 hours. I did this and after a lot o stress about this i$1,000 item they gave me another one of these defective products but have a carrier entered. I had repeatedly informed them that there was no carrier, but it was still there as was other incorrect data. A new iOS had been installed but it was a system that Apple publicly admitted had problems. It's obvious that the corporation will do almost anything for money. The best fix, if a reimbursement is not provided, is to walk to the closest trash can, raise the lid, drop the piece of junk in it and then walk away.

A fairly new Apple iPhone 6 device recently began having trouble with screen brightness, and I went through the appropriate channels with Apple support, ultimately resulting is my having to visit a local Apple store. They claimed that the unit was water damaged, even though the 'moisture indicator' remained white.

After arguing with Apple for a short period, I ultimately gave in, and paid an additional $300+ for a replacement unit, on top of the $850 for the device initially. The replacement device is also faulty. Apple as a company has disgusted me, and I cannot move quickly enough in eradicating their increasingly defective and obsolete devices from my personal and business life. There are too many other manufacturers making better quality products at better pricing to remain with a company that is quickly spiraling into antiquity.

Let me start off by saying that i am typing this on a Macbook Pro Retina that I paid $1500 for plus around another $800 in taxes to get into my country. I also have purchased every iPhone since the initial release, and some of them more than once. I have purchased multiple iPads and given them away to family members as gifts. By no means am I some cheapskate looking to get something for free.

So I joined the Dev program last week so that I could submit my app to apple. The app is something fairly small and simple for a real estate client that I work for. This was the first time I had worked with Objective C so it took me some time to get everything ready to submit.

So I submit my app to the store after joining the dev program and get a message about registering my hardware... How weird, so I register my Macbook Pro Retina... Then get the message again and it turns out in order to submit this app Apple wants me to buy an iPhone and an iPad.

This changes everything to me. Apple is advertising learning Swift with iPad for children, but I see NOWHERE in their ads the *disclaimer saying minimum purchase required of $999 for Macbook air, $800 iphone, $500 ipad pls $100 dev program. You CANNOT do anytihng with Swift with an iPad other than be required to buy much more stuff in order to submit anything you or your child might learn. And if you can't afford to buy your 13 year old a new iPhone then I guess you should be left to feel guilty because you had no idea Apple had these requirements.

Clearly after talking to Apple for hours on the phone it seems apparent that they do not feel this is a predatory way to do business. I guess Apple is having so much trouble now they are going to taught children with expensive things like offering heroin to a child and then they like it... Well duh, their children. And in this case the product has no warning label warning parents of this cost and investment from the get go. So yes, I compare it to hard drugs because that is what this is. If Apple does not agree then I want to see the disclaimer added to EVER SINGLE ad I see for iPad for children or iTunes University.

It is a scam. Wake up! Maybe you can afford to buy all these things even if you do not need them. But I personally have to refund my client after developing the entire app!!! Nothing upsets me more than working for free.

Again, I don't want anything for free but I want my app in the store I paid your fees, i bought your equipement, WTF Apple? WTF is your excuse for this? You do not think what you are doing is wrong but it is wrong, especially in countries where the cheapest iPhone is $1,200 after taxes.

If you give me that BS logic of you want your apps tested on a device before blah blah... I paid you $100 for a membership where your billions of dollars build sophisticated comptuers that check all the code for these things. I could be a complete idiot with an Iphone and that is not going to mean that the app I submitted to your store would be any better than the one I built triple checking EVERYTHING using simulators. So your claim is totaly worthless.

Your corporation is greed and motivated by nothing other than financial gain. Quit getting up on TV and acting like you are special or that your goal is to do something good. It is as long as people buy your devices, even if they do not need it want it and will not use it.

I will seriously reconsider buying that 27" iMac when the new ones are released soon. I see Apple under a different light now.

So I was contacted by a third party Government Grant Department. They informed me they did a study of my area and I qualify for a $8,000 grant. They said they spoke with my accountant and know that I bank with a certain bank. I told them I want interested. Lone and behold 3 hours later there was a $230 charge from iTunes. So I called my bank, disputed the transaction. I then called Apple and asked for a refund. Apple says they're not responsible, even though it was purchased through there website. I asked since it was my cc that purchased the gift card, release to me the information on how or where the gift card was used.

They declined on releasing any information to me (even though it's my account) and told me I have to file a police report. So that's what I did. I've contacted Apple and gave them the report number and asked about the $230 refund, they said no can do .... So they couldn't stop these people from accessing my account, getting all my financial info, buying products, and using the gift card. But they made sure I knew nothing about nothing. Great people HuH !!!! So now that I went crazy cancelling all my credit cards, changing my phone, switching accounts, updating new info for transactions and so on, Apple ID happy to have a$230 notch in their belt.

I brought my computer to the Oak Brook, IL Apple store for repair under the "MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues".

In this program, it states that a MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011) is eligible for repairs if it exhibits video card problems, or if the computer restarts unexpectedly.

As my machine was exhibiting video card problems, I brought it in for service under this program.

Even though I had an appointment, the time was not able to be met so I instead chose to leave my machine with them for repair, along with my credit card as I was instructed that they also needed billing information in case the repair was not covered under warranty.

After leaving the store, I was told by an Apple representative when calling to check on the status of the machine that it was highly unusual that they requested a card be left with them. The Apple tech then called the store and they were unable to locate my machine, or my credit card.

At this point, I became quite concerned until I was told that both items were in the managers "safe" in their office. I asked the manager why the machine was there and not being repaired, to which he stated I needed to come back to the store for them to even diagnose the failure.

Given his angry/aggressive tone, I felt quite uncomfortable visiting him in the store, so I offered to him that he was welcome to ship it to a repair depot or back to me if he desired, but that his tone made me very leery of having a direct interaction with him as it was clear he was looking to pick a fight. He then told me he would be disposing of my computer/credit card if I didn't come down to the store right away. At this point, I looked this store up on Google and sure enough tons of 1 star reviews for rude/aggressive customer service staff.

Concerned, I called Apple corporate support and spoke to a senior advisor, asking them to see if they could appeal to the managers good nature and have them either send the machine to another location for repair, or ship it back to me. They again refused, stating that I would need to sign a "release" in person in front of them to do so (odd since this was being declared an abandoned machine by the manager at this point). I offered to send them a notarized copy of whatever signed release they provided, but I was refused.

The Apple Senior care advisor for "Justin" on case 1078476989 stated he could do nothing else and had no influence or control over an Apple Store manager.

I have since brought this case to Apple PR/Legal/Executives, asking them to please instruct the manager to ship the machine back to me or otherwise send it out for proper repair, but have yet to hear any response. At this point I'm writing off the laptop, as I'm afraid to visit the store as the manager was very aggressive with me on the phone. I'm cancelling the credit card as well, to date there have been no charges from Apple (or anyone else on it).

Given that Apple has promised to fix these machines, but is outright refusing to diagnose/repair the machine under this repair extension program, I can only guess that stores must not get paid much (if at all) to do this kind of work. Much like "warranty" work for dealers vs. paying customer work. In this, I feel that Apple has misrepresented themselves in their claims that machines exhibiting the behaviors described in the repair extension program since they are not being evaluated for repair, or repaired.

I purchased a Mac Book air in September 2015 at the Apple store located on 14th Street in Manhattan NYC. Withn the 1st week since purchasing the Mac Book Air I noticed it was not working right. I immediately called 800-my-apple and discussed my concerns with a tech support. At that time I thought my computer may have contacte a virus, malware or under some sort of attack. I discussed the syptoms with the tech who conducted a share session and stated my computer did not have a virus but they didn't know why it was malfunctioning either. They walked me through lengthy steps to erase the history and install a malwear protection. At that time I asked if I could exghange the computer because I spent a long time on the phone attempting to resolve the issue. But the tech told me that the problem was resolved. And it did appeard to be resolved until a few days later. The problem resurfaced then additonal problems occurred. To date I am having problems that the technical support staff and Master technical support staff was unable to resolve which are:

A) I do not consistently receive e-mail that was sent to me. No, they are not in spam folder, trash bin or anywhere to be found.

B) While doing a screene sharing session with a tech support named Darrin he witnessed an incoming email entering my Inbox then mysteriously vanishing. Never to be located again. I do not know who sent the email or what message it contained.

c) While I am conducting business by sending someone a professional e-mail I make sure the font size is 12 and I make sure the tabs and margins are uniformed. But once the email is sent the person will receive a distorted e-mail. The font in the paragraph will appear various sizes ranging from 9 to 27. the margins will look out of sinc. Not making me look professional at all.

D) There are times I sent e-mail and the receiver never got it and then it is missing from my sent file. In December I replied to an email that contained a legal document that was time sensetive. I replied back in time. They never got it and it mysteriously disappeared from my sent mail. It took the tech support team close the the end of the night to eventually recover that email, and he also recovered 32 additional e-mails that I never knew was sent to me. Some dated back to Sept 2015.

E) While I am conducting research on the internet and reading articles the fonts will automatically become extreemely small or very large.

F) Files in my documents will go missing

G) While reading websites the page will scroll up or down on it's own or another website will come on the screene.

H) the volume does not consistently work,

Since September 2015 I notified Apple/Mac of the defective product and requested a refund or exchange . I was first told that in order to obtain a refund or exchange I have to demonstrated that I allowed the tech support to try to resolve the issue first. So I was patient in working with numerous numeorus numerous tech support/master support but none were able to resolve the issue.

To date I am still in posession with the defective Mac Book air. Apple staff acknowledge the problems, They witnessed the ongoing problem but keep making excuses not to provide me with a product that works as advertise. I send numerous e-mails and recorded the conversations because many of them are dishonest. they make promises but at the end of the day I am stuck with an unreliable defective product.

I've bought lots of things through itunes Music, movies, audiobooks, tv series, etc.), and there are a lot of issues that are causing me to lose my purchased content.

Music: often times i buy very specific music albums or singles. As an example, i bought a series of decade music; 70's, 80's, and 90's. I downloaded them right away. The music was great. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and the music changed! i no longer had the orginal downloads with the original artists, but instead had karaoke music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's by knockoff artists Yes, i no longer even had the 90's, but the 60's in it's place)! so, it wasn't def leppard singing and playing, but some bar-band. It wasn't van halen, it was two highschool kids in the caffeteria At least that's what it sounded like). Other albums were simply switched from the one that i bought to one that i would never buy. As an example, i bought a michael jackson album that had all of the hits i liked on it, but when i downloaded it it was a different album that had only some of the songs on it that i like, and others that i can't stand, and would have never purchased. Also, i've bought album sets and one of the sets has been supplanted by an album i didn't buy. As an example, i bought credence clearwater revival's "chronicals", which is a huge two album set. What i got was some off ccr album and the second half of "chronicals".

I bought the trillogy star wars: darth bane, and while listening to one of them, i learned that the second half was no longer on my iphone, so, hooked it up to my computer and tried to sync it back onto my phone, to no avail. It wouldn't transfer. My phone simply wouldn't copy it. I then put it into ibooks, and it wouldn't do that either, so, i just tried to listen to it on my mac, only to learn that there was no content in the file that i was trying to listen to. It was simply a file folder that was still reporting sizeable mb content, but there was no content to play. I rebooted my computer, and the file disappeared, now, i don't have the file at all, ergo, the book is lost.

T.V. Series: i bought a t.V. Show called scorpion, but when the shows started coming out, it forced me to pay for each show. The cover page for the show even showed that i paid for it, but there was no reciept for the purchase on the account, and even though i had the reciept from apple in my email, they refused to both refund my money, and they said no to clearning me to have the show! to this day, the show still indicates that i purchased it. Other disappearing pre-purchases included the americans, and game of thrones.

When i talk to customer service they are appathetic towards the issue, and they claim that that's not happening, and that they've never heard of this issue before. However, reading these forms i see that others are having similar issues, where some of it they've traced back to other "free" applications where the administrators of those cites might be the culprits. But, that's not what i'm talking about here. I'm talking about getting blatantly ripped off by apple / itunes.

And, before you waste your time trying to rebuff my report, remember, i'm living this, and i am speaking form experience. I've seen it. I can prove everything i've said here Email reciepts, screen shots of "purchase" for scorpion, no reciept for non-purchased ccr album, reciept for whole purchased ccr album along with the second half of the chronicals, telephone recordings with apple / itunes, etc. Also, don't think that everyone has a lot of time and money to start suing apple over something like this, i don't. I've spent about 40 hours on the phone with them and they refuse to even see the proof, and anything short of getting a lawyer for $5,000, you can forget it!

On November 7, 2015 I happened to check my VISA card activity and found ten unauthorized charges. Three appear to be online only to the Apl Apple Online Store for $2,000, $2,000 again, and $500.

The seven other charges were done locally in Houston, Texas to Neiman Marcus (in Houston), three times to a "Corner Store 2609" (in our neighborhood) for $100 each time, once to a truck rental company (Gas Dip) in Houston.

That was yesterday, Saturday, and thankfully I caught the errors and reported it to my VISA and they cancelled the card immediately. Today, being Sunday, I can't do much to contact these merchants, but I plan to do so tomorrow, Monday.

None of our Visa cards with that number were missing. Somehow the perpetrator(s) captured the numbers and made new cards.

I am writing this for two (2) reasons: (1) It is the only way to regain a heart-breaking and mind-blowing loss of confidence that I have suffered as a direct result of relationship abandonment post-miscarriage, and (2) If any other woman has experienced something similar, and suffered enormously, at the hands of someone who enjoys a reputation for being, at least superficially, good, kind and ethical in his public life, reinforcing your private doubts about the conduct that caused you such grief.

I have enjoyed a few wonderful, long-tem, committed relationships in my life, which for various reasons, at some point felt like a poor choice with the perspective of a life-long relationship. It was never right or right enough to go all the way, despite tremendous effort, particularly by me, to reverse the negative aspects. I am the type to forgive quickly, remember the positive, which has allowed me to remain a friend (but a real friend) to those few who at one point felt like the center of my universe.

Today, I woke up realizing that I had been abandoned. After having suffering a miscarriage some days ago, realizing the father, my ex-fiance Enzo Biagini (as of right now), to whom I was engaged, had abandoned me in cowardly fashion, without having had the most remote amount of courage to independently raise fears/concerns, but rather, preferred to slip out the back-door; revoking interest in engagement or planning a life together, without ever saying a word.

When I told him how badly he was making me feel about myself, and that I needed to take time to regain my self-confidence, he seemed pleased and relieved. The same man that convinced me to keep his despite its unplanned nature and lack of preparation, and physical risk it posed to its mother (myself) turned into a heartless stranger overnight.

This behaviour mirrors that which he has displayed in his personal life again and again without ever having the emotional aptitude to comprehend that his own recreant conduct has been the cause of deep and repeated torturous hurt to those he owed a duty of responsibility.

Moral turpitude, or crimes that have an inherent quality of baseness, vileness, and depravity with respect to a person's duty to another (or to society) are extremely serious; unfortunately the victim cannot or does not seek retribution because the emotional damage is too embarassing and severe to imagine a third party understanding that she has been treated so poorly. It only reinforces her feelings of weakness, poor self-esteem, and tremendous depression.

Enzo is a wolf in sheeps clothing without the capacity for true or deep emotions. He will destroy you; please do not let him.

I have purchased over 8 iphones in the past 3 yrs and foun the last group of phones that were purchased in 2012-2013 had bad batteries in them. When you go back to Tmobile after 14 days they say to use warranty. Warranty has a $150 deductible and you just bite the bullet and settle to buy an extender to give another 2-3 hours on your battery life.

We have 24 Iphones within my comapny and I tell all the employees to keep the brightness level to 1/4 level so that we can have more battery life. Why is it that my son who has a Samsung Galaxy dont have this issue????

So a class action lawsuit was filed and a a website was created to off set the lawsuit. So originally when the lawsuit was making media attention they were replacing batteries left and right. Now that time has passed, they have stopped honoring the bettery exchange program. Ive had 4 different phones that have the same issue and bought during the same time with the same issues. The Tmobile dealer said that all his clients were having them replaced without issue, that was back in August last year and today --apple has this on the website:

The serial number you entered is not eligible under this program because either:

- It's not one of the serial numbers in the affected range

- Our records show that your battery has already been replaced. If you paid for a battery replacement service,

Apple has been selling the product "Apple Care +" for iPhones for many years now, and they guarantee that it is a worldwide services that work in all the countries. Unfortunately that is a lie, and they keep selling and lying to customers that it works worldwide. I have bought apple care to all my iPhone's but apple care doesn't work in Brazil! When you have a problem with your iPhone there, even dought you have the same model that is certified in the country they don't work. So, a big company like apple want to make easy money selling a product that customers cannot use in Brazil, but in the website in Brazil they are clear that apple Brazil doesn't support apple care for iPhones in Brazil. So, that is very bad for apple to keep doing this and making fool of their very loyal Brazilian customers that buy all their products more than anyone else. Please verify my history by accessing apples website in Brazil and checking that iPhones are not supported. My family is obligate to send their phones here to the US in order to get them repaired because Apple care is not worldwide like they claim. store.apple.com/br/browse/home/applecare Please stop lying and making free money of Brazilian customers
