Ordered a pair of shoes, paid 26.99 plus 9.99 for shipping and didn't receive them. Can't get help from Ebay. They say they have no record of any purchase. I used a credit card. Did not receive a confirmation, nothing. Can't get in touch with AppaelSave.
ApparelSave.com is a rip-off but I'm almost as angry at PayPal pretending they'll protect people when they don't -- a Seller on Ebay so obviously ripped me off.
After receiving a pair of "new" shoes from ApparelSave.com's store on Ebay, they literally fell apart. It happend 5 weeks after the purchase date so the Seller wasn't legally obligated to give me a full refund. However, any Seller with good conscience would have offtered to refund at least half my cost in these circumstances but they refused...accusing me of doing the damage. After I pointed out to them (via email contact) that it was impossible to do that much damage in the few weeks since I'd actually received the shoes, I received no further response from them. I then contacted Ebay who couldn't help since it had been more than 30 days.
Finally I went to PayPal who contacted the Seller and got the not-so-generous offer of $20 refund on my purchase. Since I would rather receive nothing from thieves, I declined. PayPay said they would investigate and came back saying if I wanted to pursue it, I must contact the Seller. Say what? How do "new" shoes fall apart in a few weeks and the Seller's not responsible? ApparelSave is contemptible.
