They advertised a job as being remote and contacted me to ask if I was interested. I was and they submitted me to their client who is 400+ miles away. I went through two very technical interviews and did very well. The client then reached out to Apex and stated that they wanted to hire me. When Apex called me to accept the offer, they did an "Oh by the way," and let me know if I wanted the jon job I would have to pick up my family and move across country. The client had no intention of letting anyone work remote. It was all a scam, like catfishing in hopes that someone desperate for a job woud take the bait. Here's the kicker: This was the second time they pulled this in a month. I will be suing .
This is actually temp agency that will tell you they have job leads for permanent positions. Well you guessed it, was a lie, they only do this so they can fulfill their positions for clients who are taking risks in their own business, who can treat you like dirt and know you can’t do anything about it. Even better is the fact that you can be let go for any reason what so ever! Since they use contracts! I was one such sucker, I quite my full-time job to take an offer for a better one offered by apex systems and Nick the main boss said I would be fine as everything was set up. I worked on my assignment for a month in a half then was jobless. I was Offred no explanation either which was illegal. But wait the contract threw my rights away? Funny, didn’t say that when I read the whole thing. Moral of the story you should stay away unless you want to lose your job for something that’s not even stable. They use people until the assignment is over, after that you’re threw.
