I approached this attorney to assist me in immigrating to the US. I walked into his office with me & my two children explaining the situation that we need to begin paperwork.
I trusted him & signed everything that he asked me to sign. I was under the impression that my children were included in the application. And, I believe that he himself thought the children were included in the application.
However, the result was me receiving my green card ONLY. My children apparently were never processed according to immigration. When I approached him for an explanation, he told me he had thought the children were included in the application.
When I asked what he was going to do about it, he said he wanted more money. This was completely unfair as now my children could not travel out of the country until their immigration process was complete & green cards in hand. My main upset was the fact that my child has a chronic medical condition & needed medical attention out of the country....Thus, we could not leave because their immigration was incomplete.
On a final note, the attorney misplaced my childrens' copies of their personal identification. I had to provide these to him twice.
