Anthony's Firearm Warehouse Reviews
The price was the only good thing about this place! I ordered a M&P on 8/2 and they confirmed my FFL on 8/3 and didn't ship until 8/15. After a few days of no tracking update I called and they said it was picked up by FEDEX.. I might add, before I ordered I called to make sure it was in stock. anyway, Anthony's sent me another one and I got it on 8/22.. I was a little ticked about the timeline but I understand stuff just happens sometimes.. When I went to pickup my MP it was missing 1 mag.My FFL the nice guy he is called for me and let them know what was going on. on my invoice under product name it states NS 3 10RD with a sku of 151214 what they sent was sku 109303 looks to be the same but only had 2 mags.. So after a few calls it came down to Anthony's saying we need to fix this. can I call you tue 8/23 after I talk to a manager.. I try to work with people so I said that would be fine. Now it's 8/25 and no call, no FB message and no email.. Take it for what it's worth.. Bud's had the same sku for about $40 more and was going to do a price match plus $20 I bought from Anthony's not just for the 20 bucks but it was also Vet owned.. So much for that!
I had won an aution on Gunbroker, an SPS Star, fair and square item, # 878658012
I paid for the Item immediately in the amount of 1,525, Then got an email from a Shannan stating
that there was a mistake and that she cancelled the auction after the fact, I have called trying to get a supervisor on the phone so see if we could come to an accord but you can never get anyone on the phone, the only way they communicate is by chat and Vanessa that I chatted with just cut me off by saying "you are refunded, I want my item. To this day I haven't recieved a refund from gunbroker. In my Opinion Very POOR Business Ethics.
As a business I have had to eat some of my employees mistakes but I see that not every business Is worried about their NAME.
I’m Perplexed
There are a decent amount of positive reviews; but so far my experience has been not so good. I put an item on lay-a-way. Made all my payments on time. Sent FFL information. For whatever reason I can't get my item shipped. I received a shipped email and tracking number and it's been over a week and FedEx still hasn't received the item. The label was created and that's the last of it. When I called, voice message not taking calls. I've sent a few messages via email, no response. I had a "chat" online with one of their reps who told me my order is to ship first. When I asked what that meant, she said she would email the information, that was hours ago. I'm shocked by my experience compared to others who gave a glowing review. Needless to say, I'll pass on using this firearms dealer in the future. Buds may be slightly higher in price, but they run a much more smoother operation. Who needs this kind of headache when making a good faith purchase?
Bad Company
I Had gun broker listing that Kristy Muir Bought, The she emailed me a said she didn't read the description where it said Buyer pays Actual Shipping. I send her the total as well as a Screenshot of the USPS cost for shipping and she replied that it was Highway Robbery and ended up giving me Bad Feedback because I was of the highest integrity and only charging the exact Cost. I mean don't like the price? Don't Bid. Or even if being a non paying bidder , don't leave bad feedback for someone because you screwed up.
Still scamming!
What possible reason do they have to ask for MY name and email before I can search for an FFL dealer. That is free public information. Something is really wrong with these guys...and the years passing have allowed them to fix nothing. Go with others.
Worst company ever
Buyers be careful, their customer service is the worse, rude and deceiving, would never deal with those scammers again
*****Buyer Beware***** Anthony’s Firearm Warehouse also known as AP Defense LLC Previously known as Anthony-Industries LLC is a ****Scam ffl**** They aren’t a warehouse it is just a drop shipper who low balls pricing on items, states they are in stock and after receiving payment sends weekly emails advising the item is out of stock and you will receive as soon as possible but order can be canceled anytime with full refund. I fell for it!!! I am writing this review to inform my fellow online purchasers to beware. Most people don’t search for reviews on multiple websites if any. I will be posting this on every website I can possibly find to inform as many people as possible.
Here is my personal story:
I purchased a firearm on October 30, 2020; cost was $485 + $6.99 Shipping = $491.99 Total. I received weekly emails for about 4 months, then bi weekly for about 6 months, then once a month for the next few months.
On February 1, 2022 I finally decided this was way too long of a wait and cancelled for a full refund as promised from the time of purchase and with every email since.
On February 11 2022, I sent my first email requesting status on the refund. On February 13, 2022 I received a system generated email stating that the credit card refund did not go thru for the full amount of $491.99 in addition to a separate email from Vanessa (Customer Service Support) claiming that the backorder refunds are having a problem in their system that I could use it as a credit for something else or wait for 3 to 4 weeks for the refund to arrive.
I replied NO I wanted the full refund and will wait for the 3 to 4 weeks.
On April 2, two months after cancelling my order and a month and a half after the email conversation with Vanessa I again requested a status on my refund.
On April 4 I received a response that a check was mailed on April 1 and it would take 7 to 10 business days to arrive.
On April 6 I received a check for $466.99 it was short $25 to my surprise. I emailed Vanessa and received a response the next day that the $25 charge is for “POSTAGE COSTS”. WHAT THE HELL ARE “POSTAGE COSTS”.
I replied that I demanded a full refund and to this day have not received a response. In that final email I asked “How many customers are they doing this to?” as stated before, no response as of yet.
I then went online and have found out that this company has been doing this to many buyers and making $25 a piece for no service or product. *****Scamming as many customers as possible, Please beware of this fraudelant company*****Don't fall for it!!!!!!!!!!!!
