Mr Scott Brooks sure sets a low bar when it comes to what a good qualified annuity lead is to his company. His definition straight from his agrement is that there is a name, an address and a phone number. Other than that he cannot guarantee any further quality of the annuity lead. Since this was my first time purchasing annuity leads I really did not understand his agreement very well. I now know that is a VERY anti consumer agreement. The way Mr Brooks defines a lead there is really no adequote recourse to me as the consumer when the lead is worthless. He does no adequote screening to see if there is another Advisor involved with the prospective client. This is pathetic!! Out of the leads that I started with only one did I have even have a 10% chance of writing the case!!
I turned the leads back within 7 days of my initial complaint and he was SO nasty about refunding the fees. Satisfaction Guaranteed is NOT part of his Mission Statement!! Mr Brooks is NOT providing a good product or service!! At this writing I am still fighting to get my refunds back from him!!
I want to warn all agents and advisors out there to NOT use Brooks & Co for Annuity Leads. You will be VERY disappointed and not worth your time.
