This man was introduced to me by a third party. We had a meeting and he agreed to invest $50,000. During the process of 1 week he indicated that he needed $4,000 to fund the closing so he can close on a house where he would receive $50,000 which he would use to close his purchase. Two weeks later he gave me a check in the amount of $4,000, which was returned for insufficient funds.
To say the least, the purchase never happened and he compensated me $1,000 towards the $4,000. I exhaustedly tried to work with him for 2 1/2 years of patience. Between his texts and verbal statements he gave me over 300 broken promises. I later found out that he has done similar things with many others , and in Illinois he has several judgments.
