"In 2017 Andrew Fabrikant represented himself and his trust, to several individuals, as a part owner of the funding company Golden Pear. Andrew is a "stepson" of Bob Cohen and "stepbrother" to Jeff Cohen of the Cohens fashions optical empire. After seeing the relationship to Bob and Jeff Cohen I trusted his word on everything.
It all started out with smaller investments of 20k and we saw the return come back. Much like anyone who sees a return on an investment we all invested more money. As the money increased and the deal progressed our payouts started to be delayed and that's when the stories began. Like a good scammer, Andrew always answered the phone and gave bogus stories on wires being sent and delayed. I have been chasing my money for over a year. Along the way, I have found other victims and it looks like he has scammed about 250k from investors."
