We have a convenient store at 225 N. Michigan Avenue. The name of the store in 225 Market Inc. Our account is under the name of the store, 225 Market Inc, We started this account in mid 2016. Mr. Raymond was the delivery person. He used to drop off new magazines every week and pick up unsold magazines. We had to pay for all deliveries up front and were supposed to get credit for all the unsold returns with the next week's invoice. Sometimes we would see the return credits, most of the time there were no credit issued.

We were told by Mr. Raymond that all returns credit will be reflected on the next bill. This went on for quite sometime. Around end of 2017 or early 2018, we noticed that they were charging us $5.00 delivery charges. We never sold more than 5 or 9 dollars worth of magazines in any given week. Altogether, we had approximately 1100 dollars worth of refunds due back to us. Around end of 2017 or early 2018, we decided to close the account. At that time, Ms. Tania told us that the balance due to us was only 100 dollars. Tania and I went back and forth with the statements of accounts and I provided her with whatever invoices I could find. But at the end, Tania would only find that the refund due to us was 100 or so.

I did not want to go any deeper with the issue so I asked her to mail the check for the refund. Mr. Raymond apparently did not return all the magazines to the warehouse as he was supposed to do. I would pay him cash most of the times, and he must have been keeping the cash without reporting the returns to the company. About 3 weeks back around between September 12/2020 and 16/2020, I got in touch with Ms. Tania and now the refund is 87 some dollars. I spoke with her again on 9/28/20 and she said she will find out with the person in charge about the status of the check. I called again on 9/29 and 9/30 and she has been dodging my calls. I don't have all the invoices, so I cannot dispute the accuracy of the refunds due to us, but with the invoices that I have on hand, I can show that I have paid every invoices in full and that credit was not issued for any of the returned magazines.

I just want to resolve this and put it pout there that all convenient stores beware of the practices of the delivery driver and the lakc of follow up from Ms. Tania.
