The person claiming to be James Chao of Amundi Capital, also called Amindi or Amundi SVP or Amundi Pioneer, contacted us to do a commercial refinance on a real estate property. Approved our loan, then loan funds were transferred via ACH into our account. He charged loan fees which he took by wire or ACH out of our accounts. Then he recalled his original loan funds, so we were out nearly $200K. We asked for the return of funds, the bank was able to stop payment on 100K but he got away with the remainder, disconnected his email and phone number.
His website is still active Amundi.com although you can't reach a real person anymore. He was also assited by Ms. Siphia Wung, CIBfx Brokers, [email protected], www.cibfx.us who called me by phone and was angry and upset for no reason about me asking questions to verify their identities.
