I signed up for their program to settle several accounts. I was unable to stay on the program due to loss of income. My complaint is 2 of the settlements were paid to the wrong company. I had a discover account from 10 years ago and my husband had one that was recent. When they wanted to confirm the settlement agreement with me, I told them the account number didn't match, nor the $ amount, she said it's because there's fees that aren't on my statement, yet come to find out AFTER they were paid and I withdrew from the program it was not the account number I gave them to settle.

I'm not even sure where they got that account number as I no longer had access to that information. I found out when I received a letter from Discover and they told me there was no settlement made and by calling the company the payment was made to (Radius) and they informed me the payment was made on a different account. Today I received a letter from an attorney for my Amazon account that was also suppose to be settled (I withdrew from the program after 2 payments of $550 were made to Amazon) only to find out the payments were made to CareCredit.

Of course, when I call and ask, I get the runaround. They are never going to admit they make mistakes. No matter how many calls I've made, I can't get an answer. They can't even provide me with a settlement letter from CareCredit showing that's who I authorized to pay. I was on the phone with Amazon to authorize 3rd party contact and he's trying to tell me there's no way that's possible. I guess they only pretend they record their calls because when I ask to go back to the recorded call, I get no response.

After filing a complaint with the BBB they did refunc me for one account, the Discover that was settled wrong. The other one, they refuse to pull the recorded phone calls or send me a copy of the settlement letter from the company they did settle with and I believe it's because they know they made a mistake. I responded to text message regarding the wrong account so I made the mistake of quickly reading a text and should have been more careful on my end than to trust a company was doing the right thing.

JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN CONFIRMING YOUR INFO AND PUSH BACK WHEN THEY GET PUSHY...THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT IN YOUR BEST INTEREST AS MUCH AS THEY ARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY...THEY SHOULD HAVE BOTH PARTIES BEST INTEREST!
