I got a sales call from this company they use pretty sketchy sales tactics, almost to the point of illegal. When I was called I was asked about my current magazine service & if I would like to stop the auto renew policy which i did have a magazine service just not with this company, but I did not know that at the time because they did not say the company name.
When i asked them if this was for a new service they said no & come to find out I was lied to, so I continued on with the call talked to the Supervisor she also did tell me that this was not for new service but to update the records so that i would not get charged when the renewal came.
The next day i get a charge for this "New Service" & I tried to call but the office is in the east coast & I am in the west so it was very hard to get a hold of some one, a few days later I get a letter in the mail that says Thank You for your service & that my subscription order has been placed, Wait WHAT!! I was furious, now it's been like a week since I called up customer care & finally got a hold of them.
What do they try to do next is to lower the payments & they tell me its not a commitment that I can cancel any time but that I need to keep to honor the agreement, but yet I can cancel any time, It was like pulling teeth with these people also the lady I talked to kept saying ahh & um a lot & saying I understand but finally after 15 minutes of argueing I did get them to cancel the service.
