I borrowed 2000 on the 28th of this last month. Made me pay already 480 dollars on the 19th. They said I have three payment in June. The 2, 16, and the 30 th. A total of 1,440 plus for next month. I thought wow I'd be almost done as U borrowed only 2000. Wrong!! They said that's only interest and my total payback amount in 2,000 dollars is 12,500 plus in 2018. With continues biweekly payments of 480 dollars only for interest. I can pay off my loan today for 2,602 dollars. Bear in mind I borrowed 2000. I already paid 480 on time no late fee. It's 33 dollars a day interest. Please someone help me. This information was never disclosed to me. Please help

This company should be reported as a scam. The payments you make on $4 goes towards repayment of the loan. When I applied for the loan I was under the impression that the processing fee would be taken out 4 times then the total amount borrowed would be deducted out of your checking account.

But no that is not the case. The APR is outrageous. I borrowed $300 in the first week of February. I was told that $88.83 would be taken out in accordingly to my Bi-Weekly paychecks, and that the last and total amount of the loan plus interest would be taken out the first week of April. But that was not the case.

I had to call the company to arrange for the total loan amount to be taken out of my account after having paying $370.32 just in interest alone of which $4 was applied to the loan. I noticed that only $88.83 was being drafted from my account on a Friday. So I called the company to have the entire amount drafted from my account to find out that you have to call 2 days prior to the day you would like to pay off the loan.

More fees $5.75 per day. So in addition to my $88.83 payment on a Friday to pay off my loan would be the loan amount plus an added $16 because every day including weekends accrue interest. So my $300 loan turned into a total of $671.32. Wow I could have just paid my credit card late fee :(

I regretfully out of need signed up for a $500 loan with American web loan and without knowing what a huge rip off they're company is I allowed them to take money out of my bank account on a biweekly basis thinking that would make up for the $500 I owe them to pay off the loan with a period of 6 weeks to later find out the pay off would cost me $1,800.

This is a shame of a buisness and a huge and complete rip off with their excuse being they charge alot of interest but make it out to be an easy $500 loan when it's not all. They should explain this in a clear way on their websight before people make the decision to get into a debt like this but they don't. I am very disgusted that this online buisness is allowed to do this to people who only ask for loans out of desperation to later fund out these criminals bank $1,800.00 out of a $500 loan! Someone needs to do something about these people this is criminal.

I was buying a car and need to borrow 1000 dollars and sent application but kept getting denied until American Web Loan and they lent me 1200 and said that I would make bi weekly payment of 254 to pay off my loan but they never stated the interest rate. I still have the agreement I signed and all the agreement stated that payment would be making 254 each paycheck to pay off my loan and I could still pay it off if I paid it all at once. After 3 payment I THOUGHT I should be more than halfway done with the loan payment with maybe two more to go for interest. However I checked and I found out I was paying interest and the principal was only 6 dollars included in the payment. I was pissed because the guy did not tell me it was interest payments and the agreement I signed stated nothing about how high the interest rate is until after I signed agreement and I got a more detailed agreement in my account and Not To my email.

I am still paying g off even though I'm struggling worse since I took out this loan. I will have paid over 5000 for a 1200 loan and this agreement was never detailed until AFTER I signed and have Picture of the agreement! Do not use this loan they will rip u off.

Company doesn't explain terms correctly and you end up paying almost triple what you borrow. Then staff very nasty when you call in about the rip off. After paying loan you get ultimate surprise that you are not done and have six months more to pay. Please shut this place down.

Had payday loans with American web loans before, this is the first time that they kept taking pymts out my checking acct after the loan was done. tried to get into my info and was no info to be found. in the past that meant that the loan was paid off. tried to talk to some one and thay offered a gift card before talking to some one. if you denied the gift card you were disconnected. now i have to change my account to stop this. i have alot of auto pymts that come out of my acct, and to close my acct would be an unnecessary hassle because i would have to change all my info on the other auto pymts because of this greed and rip off action.

This needs to be stopped that others don't lose their funds that they work hard for.

About two months back I had taken a loan from AWL, in order to pay for a cellphone bill. I was told I could take a loan from American Web Loan by a fake Indian over the phone and pay it back in installments. That was all I was told. No "We charge interest per day." Was told or shown too me until two months later! The guy I talked to about this was not concerned nor was he sorry about deceving me or any past customers like this! I hung up on him in the middle of the conversation so I didn't end up cussing him out! American Web Loan is a f****** scam! I am now stuck paying this 300 dollar loan in 13 instalments which will come up 945 bucks! What the f*** kind of s*** is that?! Don't take this loan! Look up Loan Me or something else or better yet, budget your money wisely. Do not get stuck like I am! I am planning on giving these f**kers 300 up front and never use a loan website ever again!

Unfortunately, there are times in life when a person may find themselves a bit short on funds and need some help making ends meet, ensuring they have food to eat and a roof overhead. As these times have only occasionally come for me, and most of the time I have been able to get a payday loan or short-term loan and make monthly payments to help me bridge the gap. This company does NOT care about you in the least bit. Their goal is to drain struggling people of every last penny they can get. If they were not an Indian company, lending practices like this would not only be illegal but literally define Predatory lending practices to a T.

Let me explain my situation - I took out a loan for $600, for which I was explained over the phone I would be making monthly payments totaling $240 per month. Sure, I expected high interest but I needed the money to pay rent so I agreed. Well, as this company is on an Indian reservation, apparently none of the actual US lending laws apply to them. They literally make up their own rules on the fly, lie to you over the phone and hide all of the nasty details of the loan in the fine print - which you will not receive until AFTER you get the money and are tied to the loan. Basically, after making 6 payments of $120, I went online to check the remaining amount of my loan to pay it off. Lo and behold absolutely $0 of the over $700 payments I'd made to that point went to the principal of the loan! I have heard of high interest, but how can NONE of the money paid go towards the principal?? It baffles the mind. I

then knew I'd been swindled and mislead by some of the worst people ever. I called an spoke to a representative about why 0% of my payments went toward loan principal. The rude employee proceeded to explain to me that the monthly payments did not go towards the loan but were, and I quote "paying to hold onto the funds borrowed" until the full loan amount could be paid back. Well if I had $600 to pay back at once, two things - 1.) Why would I sign up for a monthly payment plan and 2.) I wouldn't have taken out the loan in the first place! I explained how ridiculous this was and i stopped making payments to this company immediately. This is not a loan, this is simply a way for criminals to put you on the hook and continue to extort money from people having a tough time financially already.

Since I stopped further payments, I am now being harassed at work by a "law" firm trying to collect this debt and threatening legal action. There are two people at my job with my exact first and last name, the other of which is the Senior VP of HR. They spoke to him and threatened him about my loan, which now he knows about!! Well, this is HIGHLY illegal and little does this company know, my fiancee works at a large LA law firm, which will soon be contacting AWL in great detail with some legal actions of our own. S

TAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! if you need money, talk to a bank or even take out a normal payday loan. This is not a loan - you WILL be robbed and this company does not care in the least. I never knew such a "loan" could be allowed to exist in 2016. I guess the Indian casinos were not enough and they needed to find another way to extract money from desperate people. This company should really be ashamed. Just know, that I will not be intimidated by your threats any longer and I plan to take legal action against this company for notifying my superiors of a loan (which is a personal issue) in such a fashion. I wish someone would have warned me. If you are seeing this review and you have not taken out a loan with this company yet, please do ANYTHING else. This is the absolute worst and there is a 100% chance you will regret it. Run.

This company is a total rippoff. I was in need of some cash knew that I would be paying some interest on $1,000 loan but not $3K!!! That is a total joke!!!!! I told them when I went to do my signauture no where did it state that the interest rate was 534.5%!!!! OMG I did not fall off a turnip truck yesterday!!!!! And that it was never disclosued that payments would be taken out bi-weekly. I was only asked in my application when I was paid! I will be reporting this company to the BBB as this is a total rip off and I suggest that anyone who reads this and has also been effected by this company and was ripped off to let everyone and anyone you know NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone! I know that I won't make that mistake again!!!! I am a single parent with 3 kids and I NEVER would have agreed to an interest rate of 500%!!!!!! Who in their right mind would!!!!! I guess I would rather loose everything I have, than to deal with scammers like this company is!
