Ok, My roommate and I were looking into a trailer in the Mount Morris NY... American Village Communites. We looked at a trailer by a private seller at night, where they only had one light on, so the trailer looked like it was in good condition. We then went over during the day to make a plan and there was black mold in the window sills, black mold in the ceiling, the furnace was making noise etc. We were excepted to the park mind you. We called Jeff Luellen to see any other homes in his parks, he responded with a doublewide which was bigger for us. So we talked about the price where we would put down 7000 and the trailer is 24, 900 and our payments would have been 646 a month including lot rent. So, then he had the park manager show us the doublewide, and the carpets needed to be done some of the windows needed screens, window sills were warped, the walls had holes in them, so after we called jeff back and offered a lowered price, he called us back and was very rude, and said that the conversation we had prior never took place, and that the 24900 was a cash price only, and he would not offer a loan on preowned homes which he has listed on the above site for financing. He then told me that he would fix the trailer for 29900 but the 7000 down would not come off the price of the home, he also said that my offer was not worth anything even though the home needed a bunch of work. This second conversation we had was very rude, and discrementory. DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME IN ONE OF HIS PARKS OR ANYTHING FROM HIM. The first conversation we had he didnt recall, my take on it was that he must have been doped up.. Complete ripoff person.. May even be on drugs who acts like that when you are trying to do business... Thank You for reading
