DO NOT shop here or any other location. They lie and frankly do not give a d**n. We bought over $11K worth of furniture on 11/24. We were planning closing our new house 12/20 so we told them that was tentative delivery date.

They did not mention that they don't sell their own rugs but only ship third party. So we got an email saying part of our furniture shipped. We had to call to see what shipped as our house was not ready and only construction workers would be there. We tried to get them to stop shipment or change to our current living address. The customer service manager at the store told us to "DEAL WITH IT". Exact words. It is out of their hands. Really? You shipped something when you were not supposed to and without asking and told us to deal with it? I called UPS but they said only the sender can change address. I can't call the sender because it is secret since it is American Signature's third party seller.

After all that was settled they finally delivered our furniture later than scheduled BUT neglected to tell us some items were on back order. OK we bought and paid for, not financed, all our furniture over a month before delivery and it is out of stock. So you don't actually keep people's furniture when they pay for it? And it's not a week or two out of stock, try 4 months!!! On top of that, NO ONE called to tell us, we only found out from the delivery guys.

On delivery, 3 items were damaged. Yes their brand new furniture arrives damaged ALL the time. Not one, not two, but 3 separate pieces. And guess what, all 3 pieces were out of stock so we have to wait another 2 1/2 months.

So our furniture arrives in waves, again NO ONE told us. You pay for all at once, you expect to get all at once. Nope, we are on our 7th scheduled delivery because they constantly call the night before and say that our supposedly delivery will be delayed because it is out of stock. Again, not once, not twice, not three times, but 7 times!!!

And 3 more items came in damaged. One nightstand is on it's third replacement! So we have to keep taking time off work, sit and wait for their 2-4hr time frame only to have damaged furniture or cancelled or no shows! They don't care about your time, only their pocket books!

So we are living in our house, out of boxes because we only got 70% of our furniture so far. Yes I have contact corporate, they don't care and will ignore you. I wrote about my experience on their Facebook page, they removed it and blocked me.

Think again if you want to shop with this company. Read the reviews, read the BBB rating and reviews. DO NOT shop with this business or it's parent company Value City!!!

Buyer Beware: Switch and bait scam. Purchased a $4,000 bedroom set from showroom floor in off white coloring as displayed. Delivered a faw day later approx feb 9, they deliver it in brown. I called immediately to complain, then said just approve the shipment and we will deliver the proper color. The following day, meet with manger in store. She promised to deliver the bedroom set in white. Today, is approx May 31st. No bedroom set, they asked me to leave the store if they would call the police and attonerys are involved to get my proper bedroom set. Horrible fraud! Me and my friend Gwen went to American Home furniture Sunday on June 4, 2017 to buy furniture that we found after vistiting several stores.

We were given a great deal by a nice lady that helped us. She was having a hard time when it came to the computer part because we found out it was her first day really.

She called for help several times. The people she called over never stayed with her they disappeared. I even helped her .

The deal we were given at first was free delivery and 12 months or 48 months free financing.

well we both were knocked down to paying shipping and only 6 months free financing. Very misleading .

And after they ran our credit. so our credit gets dinged a point or two which hurts you anytime someone runs your credit if you know anything about credit. I do.

I have worked hard to build mine up. Well i have had the same freaking couch since 2003 and i wanted a nice recliner loveseat. I found that. we both walked out with nothing and this is why.

I was standing there realizing everything had changed by the time they ran my credit. my loveseat was 599.00 by the time taxes and the protction plan and shipping was added on it was over 800.00 . then to pay it off before 6 months i was blown away or you get it with 29 % interest which is OUTRAGEOUS.

then my friend went to the restroom/ i overheard this.

the lady at the customer service desk aslked me if i was going to follow thru with the sale. i was pondering on it still. i said im still thinking. She threw down the paper in front of the manger and said rudely she is going to back out. Then they started putting down the lady that heloed us. THey both Complained about her.

In all reality Their complaining in front of a customer was rude and very unprofessional. ANd as for the manager he should have helped his employee out when she asked for help. His name was John. He should have explained to us to make sure we knew everything before the credit was ran. He did not help his new employee.

Training is all the time. not just in a classroom for a few hours. You are always loearning. Even a manger learns constantly and i am sorry but as for that manger he lost over 3000.000 in a sale that day 2 customers. and now a complaint.

I am also contacting the BBB. and the home office. Because of the fact they ran my credit . ANd i have nothing to show for it. I cannot go buy something from anywhere anytime soon thanks to him.

I even tried to get it delviered to my house they said they dont deliver here. I asked about gettting it delivered to her house they said no the first time then said yes the second time.

see things change.

It's not right. not every customer is right. But in this case my credit was damaged and unrepairable. so in this case i have no funriture and they dropped my credit by a couple of points . Thanks for nothing.

We spent over $2600.00 on a sectional that was supposed to be Pure Leather and it started peeling and AMERICAN SIGNATURE IS ADMITTING IT WAS NOT LEATHER but will only reimburse us a store credit of 60% DO NOT BUY YOUR FURNITURE AT AMERICAN SIGNATURE, they will not refund you for their FRAUD.

Very bad service – am so dissapointed with this store, we purchased all our living room furniture from here with a warranty that cost us over $200 and then when it came to having some repairs of a sofa that no one used it should not deteriorating the way it is right now. The leather is separating from the fabric rapidly and with out touch, no one sit on this sofas, there is no tv in the living room and no visitors. No childrens in the home, and no excuse why American Signature is not standing by their word of quality merchandise. Big Mistake not reading reviews before entering the th dors of the wolf. There was no phone number to contact for service and so I went back to American signature and there reply was "i'm so sorry that you are not happy but there is nothing we can do to help you" So I have a damaged sofa and no way to repair it, so much for their 7 year warranty, they sold me lies and bad service.Never will I purchase from that store again.If I had a choice I wouldn't even rate that store.
