I placed order online. I clicked the appropriate color and size of Iphone and then processed order. For some reason the order reverted to the default color and phone size when the order processed which was not what I wanted. I wrote customer service about the error when I discovered it. They said the order would cost more for me to ship it back than the cost of the product. My cost of the product was $29.95, plus shipping at $4.95 ($34.90)

Basically their response is that it would cost me more than the cost of the product to ship it back along with a few other poor excuses for their customer service. (Not exactly sure why it costs them only $4.95 to ship but it would cost me more than the product is worth.)

Here is a copy of their customer service response:

Hi,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you.

Please note that sending the product back will cost you much more than the product itself. You will have to send it back to the warehouse, pay for the shipping and taxes and we will refund you only for the product itself (we won't refund you for the $4.95 shipping because we already shipped the product to your address). Furthermore, we need to wait for the returned item to reach our warehouse, check if there are no damage then we can issue you a refund. Lastly, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred during in transit of the package.

Thank you for your understanding.

Purchased a cell phone/wallet from this outfit. The phone fit very tight and the wallet was not what I wanted. Inquired about returning it for a refund and was told I would have to ship it to China. The shipping cost was almost as much as the wallet. Don't purchase anything from this company! What a ripoff.

They take your money, and then if you have a problem they have a no return policy.

"customer service" is very uncooperative.

Their return policy does not exist.

They will take nothing back.

You have to send it back to china at a huge cost for shipping there.

Wallet I phone case

1st off the name of the company is so deceiving. American loco when I looked at my tracking I saw it was in China. False advertisement. I sent an email and got a very vague response as I do try to buy American. Now the package comes and the wallet is cheaply made and the zipper does not work. I would not buy another think from this company.

Terrible customer service.

I have been exchanging emails with this company for nearly a month now and all I get is "send us a picture so we can see that the phone case is the wrong size". I placed the order with THEM. THEY should know what size was sent. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with on the internet. I would not recommend anyone dealing with them. In fact I strongly urge you not to buy anything at all from them. I have never ever experienced such terrible customer service. Your best bet on the internet is Amazon. They never behave like these idiots and their customer service is outstanding. STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN LOCO !!

phone case size

This company has the worst customer service of any online company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a phone case and it was the wrong size. Wanted to return for the correct size or a refund. Got an email saying that management was reviewing my request and they would get back to me quickly as possible. Never heard from them.

They also asked me for a photo of the product THEY sold to me!

Then I sent them an email telling them if I did not hear back by the end of that day I would contact my credit card company and file a complaint, which I am about to do.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SORRY!

iPhone wallet . The case does not fit the iPhone, therefore is unusable. It is also poor quality letter. Customer service keeps asking me to send pictures, and insists it will fit. It took three and a half weeks to come from China. They did not disclose this detail, I assumed it was American made with the name , American Loco. No resolution, no refund.

Who wants a wallet that has no place to put cash?

My wallet/iPhone 7 case took about three weeks to arrive, too. Also, based on the company name, I thought this was made in the USA. My iPhone 7 fit snugly in the case, but there is NO PLACE TO PUT CASH in this wallet. Their advertisement clearly specifies "A soft finish leather case that lets your phone, cards and cash co-exist happily by uniting functionality and vintage class." Trust me, unless you want to fold two or three dollar bills in thirds in order fit them into the zippered coin section, there is no where to put cash in this wallet. Craftsmanship looks good, but the type of leather looks like the kind that doesn't last long, very thin. The packaging it arrived in had a note on it: "Your 100% satisfaction is our goal. If you are satisfied with our products, could you please leave us a 5 stars rating? If there is anything you are not satisfied, please do not open dispute or leave negative feedback, please contact us through the order message first. We promise to solve the problem until you are 100% satisfied." LIARS! Their response to my request for a return authorization was: "We are truly sorry to inform you that we do not accept product returns/exchange as of the moment as clearly stated in our refund policy here: https://www.americanloco.com/pages/refund-policy" VERY MISLEADING! They don't state it will take nearly a month to get the product, up front, and even though it appears to be made in USA (based on the company name) it is actually made and shipped from China, and they obviously have no intention of keeping their "promise" to solve the problem until 100% satisfied.

I have been sending emails to American Loco for over a month! I have a few issues with this company. First they advised a LED shoe with stars that gave the impression that the shoes light up. The shoes DO NOT light up, they glow in the dark! BIG DIFFERENCE! Next the shoe on the outside appears to run the size you need and ordered....however the inside of the shoe is significantly smaller causing the shoe to run small and not actually be the correct size. After SEVERAL attempts, multiple emails to this scam artist of a company I have decided to join multiple other unhappy customers in exposing AMERICAN LOCO! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! They asked me to take pictures of the shoe while measuring the shoe. Which I did. I ordered a size 6 in mens for my daughter which ran extremely small. I wear a 5 to a 5.5 in kids and the shoe still fit tight even for me. I explained all of this in multiple emails to this place called business American Loco. But they kept telling me they sent the size I ordered and the shoe was never to light up but glow in the dark. I went back to the website where I then notice they changed the description of the shoe. Then they told me there is a no refund policy unless it was something they did wrong on their end. I could go on and on about American Loco and our emails but I will just end with this....... They are basically NOT given me a refund or an exchange for a larger size. There emails were not apologetic at all or reassuring! So with that I will be calling my credit company and dispute the charge and DONATE the poor quality, poor representation of a light up shoe to charity!
