Horrible insurance

I'm not proud of myself for falling for their sales pitch. Unfortunately, I bought this insurance. This is a rip-off/ scam health insurance. The agent promised the usual benefits that were supposedly covered by the insurance including preventative care. But after doctors' visits, I get a bunch of bills for routine services I was told was covered, even though I called beforehand and confirmed in network, etc. When I called the insurance company, they said I was only covered for catastrophe. What??? So basically I paid the insurance for nothing. I called the agent. He never called back. Also, customer service was usually rude and unhelpful. I have since canceled this insurance. Beware and stay away from American Health.

Nearly identical complaint as one vs same entity (named) as American Health Solutions and several other aliases, which we noted, along with FIVE different phone numbers, mostly in our area code among EIGHT CALLS IN ONE morning. This selling "insurance" but not specific; despite NO request for any such info, as we HAVE health Insurance and ordered STOP CALLS from outset. When asked for info about company, caller hangs up, occasionally after giving names as above.

On 5th call, call back to the number and reiterating do not call order, and potential report to State or Federal Agencies, smart Alec male sarcastically said, What are you and they gonna do? Then answered his own rhetorical comment with "Good luck with that " and hung up call.

Background for most calls sounded like a "boiler room" (mass calling center) but with 2nd call from "Estremera C" the woman said her name was/is "Jamilla" [sic]. That background might have had children in it. Frequently hear click as if a second person was supervising call and giving or clearing what caller said to our questions about offer. The caller indicated "a local agent" would be involved in follow up." Vague response then caller hung up (as usual).

Yankeetown FL was I.d. For ph # 352-388-9799. Other ph #'s on caller i.d. Include same a.c. 233-4026, Archer FL # of 353-0633, and caller id of v82110125400017 from a.c. 213, then 814-0190 and snearly same "#" except last 2 digits of 15 and then ph# 872-213-0488.

SCAM IS CERTAINLY PRESENT here with highly evasive, overconfident callers trying to get name of current insurer (? To fake bill?), promise of saving money vs currently, without knowing what insurance is in force, if any, and bizarre conduct of a party very RELUCTANT to say what company is involved, ph # or ANYTHING substantive.

As a health professional myself, BEST ADVICE IS AVOID THESE AT ALL, etc., and end call PLUS REPORT TO STATE Agency Or Feds AS WE ARE NOW DOING.

My phone number was put into an online request for health insurance by someone else (possibly by accident). I have been dealing with phone calls for 24 hours back to back and for the most part have gotten very nice people on the phone that stated they will take me of their list...except for this company. They have called every hour since yesterday! I asked to talk to a supervisor. They advised me they were busy and hung up on me. I called back and asked to be taken off their list and they hung up on me. Then they called me back...yes again! Now I got upset and said that they have called me over and over and said that I would be taken off this list and I told them that this must stop! They laughed at me and said "yeah ok sure we'll stop calling!" I called back, infuriated, and asked to speak to a supervisor, of course being told they were busy, I said "ok I'm sure that's what you always say" and he laughed and said "yes we do" I said "how would you like it if I keep calling back asking for a supervisor every five minutes like you call me every five minutes?" He said, "do you think we care? We get paid by the hour!" With more laughter! And hung up. I called back again three more times and they picked up and hung up each time, but that doesn't stop them from calling me still. I'm trying to block them but they can call from different lines. Now I'm calling the state police!
