I just received a call from John Fitz saying that I won 12.5 million dollars from the Government, that I didn't have to pay any money to receive my award , but he would be asking me some personal questions , like bank account numbers , how much is my income and so forth . I know this is a scam , but I told him that I was very busy right now could I call him back at a later time . He gave me a number that had to be told to him by someone in the background , 425-358-4427 . I told him I would call back later.
Just tired from persons calling claiming I won money and a car then telling me I needed to send money to them to release my winnings. I tell them if I won money and a car fair and square I do not need to send money to anyone. Just send my award to me and I will be one very happy camper. Doesn't go that way they insist on battling with me to send money I don't have or which is more than my annual income, or I should pawn my belonging whatever they may be, diamond rings, gold whatever. I tell them I have none of that stuff and wouldn't pawn for anyone let alone some joker trying to scam me. Then I hung up. Asked for name of company they represented American Cash Awards. Searched internet while talking to these jerks. There is an Alert sign in internet about them and that it is all a scam. Told that to Mr. David Wilbren but he would not beleive it of course. Had same thing happen to me back in November 28, 2015 company reprep. Mega Millions Sweepstakes. Never received any winnings from them either as they would call ever singel month asking for money to release my winnings. Thought that when you won something there were no transfer costs, fee, insurance, etc. They would just call to let you know you are a winner and when to expect the prize. That too was a bunch of Jamaicans. Wish I could find an FBI office in my area to put in a complaint along with names, and phone numbers. This is totally ridicules. Excuse any typos pretty much angry and exhausted.
American Cash Awards - Ronald Wicks On December 8, 2021 Ronald Wicks, No Caller ID called, Ronald Wicks (slight accent) informed me that I won $8.5 Million Dollars, a Mercedes-Benz and Tesla cars. If I paid $1,000 the team will deliver the monies and cars today. America Cash Awards !!!
Someone purporting to be from American Cash Awards called my senior mother today (94) and told her she won 8 million dollars and a mercedes benz. All she had to do was meet with the ACA representative at her bank and and withdraw money to pay upfront fees. Convincing her that this was a scam took some time but I think I got through. These people are slick and have answers prepared for every possible question.
People under no circumstances will you ever have to pay any money upfront from a legitimate sweepstakes company. Do yourself a favor and hang up on any sweepstakes phone solicitations from American Cash Awards. The person who called my mom was "Robert Ellen". Fictitious I'm sure.
Sad company to try to take advantage of people. Especially senior citizens.
A John Ingram from this company, phone #213-418-7282 has been calling my elderly parents for DAYS claiming they won $3.5 million plus a car. He said he was flying from CA to their home in MI to deliver the "prize." Despite calls from me and my police officer brother, this man is continuing to call my parents. At one point he became verbally abuse with my 87-yr. old dad, but keeps calling.
I have filed a complaint with both the Michigan Attorney General and also filed a report with our local police department.
A person who said they where Michael Foster from Amerian Cash Rewards call me this afternoon to tell me I had won $2.5 million and a new Mercedes luxury car. He had what I believe was a Caribbean accent. He said I should have received a letter in the mail telling me this. I told him I would think this type of notification would have been my registered mail or courier with a return receipt. He informed me because of my age I would only have to pay a $200 registration fee for the delivery of the car and that money would be refunded to me following the delivery.
He said the call was being recorded for Federal Governments purposes and ask if I was a US citizen by birth or marriage so the government would have the ability to collect the taxes. Additionally he asked if I want the prize to be presented privately or publicly with cameras and reporters present. I never answered the question. He continued to push for the $200 which I said I was not going to give him credit card or banking information and he said he understood so he could have someone pick up the fee. At that point I hung up. I received 2 calls almost immedicately following from another Restricted number and an area code 773 which is Chicago.
I was saying that I had won s contacted by phone from a man in Jamaica saying that .. i had won $250,000.00.
He asked a lot of questions and spoke a lot about God. He gave me information and wanted it written down exactly as he gave it to me insisting that every word be spelled exactly as he gave it to me. He insisted several times that I repeat all this information back to him because it had to be word perfect. He gave me a check and confirmation number. He asked me to call him at the phone number he called me from or saying he would call me back. Then he told me to go to Walmart and send a Walmart to Walmert money transfer to a man in Berly, Uct, insisting it be abbreviated exactly as he told me. He asked me for $197.00 and when I told him I didn't have the money he kept pushing for an amount I could send. When I told him the amount he agreed to it. I sent it to the first address he gave me. Then he called me right back and changed it to a man in Jamaica and when Walmart refused to send it to Jamaica he gave me another name, even my husband or other family members me for it to be picked up in Oakland, Ca.That is what I ended up doing . After I got back home he called me wanting me to send him more money. This I refused to do. He was constantly telling me this isn't a scam and that he is sending a delivery team to my house at a certain time. He called me back several times changing the time with one excuse or another. I finally gave him a piece of my mind and he stopped calling me on that day. Before I even got out of bed the next morning starting the same thing all over again. After five calls I finally got him to believe he wasn't getting anymore money from me and he has stopped calling.
He also let me know the whole time I was talking to him that all of this should be kept confidential that I was to tell no one, not even my husband or other family members. I learned a good lesson and will listen to my husband after this. It was very upsetting and nerve wracking and I hope these pigs have had a good laugh from my misery. May God take care of them for their deeds.

They don't have my name or info or not much of anything for that matter. Just very persistent to get me to pay the $299 fee. They said they were out of California but kept calling from a blocked number and then from a Pennsylvania number 760-820-8071. A Jamaican guy with a heavy accent named Jack Williams.

I even blocked the numbr and they started calling from different numbers. He also told me that i need to send a wire transfer to this person by the name of Ira McLaughlin in New York..I blocked the number and a few days later which is today the 16 of March i get another phone call from a different number (3156980259) and this guy sounded as if he was on drugs or just slow, kept trying to tell me a bit of the same from previous caller so i said that the other caller wanted $299 and he said no there is no fee, trying to pretend that he knew nothing and then proceeded to tell me that he will have to call me back in 5 mins because he needed to go down stairs to get the records.I could hear someone in the background as if they were coaching him, because when i would ask a question he sort of hesitated before he answered. When he called me back he to gave me the same name of the supposed accountant and or bank merchant to whom i had to send the money to..But he only then told me that i would have to go to Walmart and do a Walmart to Walmart for 33 and some change, then went up to $53 and some change. I immediately started to tell him the same that this was a scam and i had alerted the authorities and hung up the phone.
I received a call from a man saying that I have been chosen to win a 2016 BMW car and $385,000. He asked me to send $289 to a man in A-Town 30 miles from me and he would send me back $7,500 to verify this was a legit winning. Then proceeded to tell me that my car was on the way and that I needed to stay on the line with him until the car was delivered. I was on the line with him for over 2 hours. I used a debit card for the transaction.
First I got a call from 256-850-0910 Dave Sayers who sounded Jamacian. He told me I won a $1M and needed to pay $395 taxes to Emil Meyer in Sun City West, AZ so they could deliver my winning tomorrow. I told him that he was nuts and he called me a cockaroach. I hung up and he blew up my cell with numerous calls but I just kept hanging up. Then he had his friends call me from 314-932-9206 ans tell me I won a new car and $1.4M. I also got calls from 876-393-2542, 876-851-7220, 876-893-2278, 903-689-4367 and 209-227-2060. Bob Billie told me I won a car too. I told them that I was going to report them to the FBI. They won't stop call me. As I was typing this my cell went off at least 10 more times. Help! What do I do?

I received an unsoliciated telephone call before noon on 9 march 2016 from kingston, jamaica, telephone number was, 1-876-296-6258.
This man said he was calling about the american states 2 plus million dollar cash award second place prize that my wife had won.
He attempted to verify our names and addresses. Since he was rather difficult to understand and i sensed a scram, i hung up the phone.
He called back immediately and questioned why i had humg-up on him. He then offered that we could give him the name of a charity we wanted to receive the money.
Rather than become argumenative, i decided to hang the phone up once again.
I then went to the computer and entered the words "american states cash awards.
Unfortunately, it is evidenthat the same scam still is alive.
