My main point is THEY can’t provide a repair facility. Another is they will NOT even allow ME to pay upfront for any repair & submit for reimbursement of any covered part(s). Thus, I can’t use the product advertised & purchased.
Read BBB, there r tons of poor reviews. But, Trustpilot gives good reviews. It’s the ole ‘insurance’ motto, ‘try not to pay a claim’. In the long run, their stance hurts them, imo.
WHY r they so at odds at fixing my windows? Becos THEY KNOW they don’t have a repair shop that takes their coverage AND works on Jaguar. OR they’d provide that facility to me instead of tire co. Or muffler shops.

I have American Auto Shield Gold Coverage. My car broke down July 12. Myself and repair shop contact American Auto Shield via email, contact to Customer Service, Adjuster Mark Diehl and his supervisor do not return calls. I’ve been without a vehicle almost 2 weeks. Inspector came on their behalf and vehicle engine damaged and needs replacement. Which is covered under my contract. I have been paying Uber every day to get to work because American Auto Shield will not return calls for even return repair company’s emails that the vehicle needs to be repaired. I have complained and have personally called them 2-3x a day everyday, Repair shop also. They are purposefully trying not to repair car even though covered under warranty. I’ve done multiple surveys and no response.

They tell you they will remove 1.79 each day while you have the service. They also charge you 200 for cancelling prior to the end of your term. Well we bought a new car on Feb. 17,2017 at this time we called to cancel the service. We were told it would be cancelled that day and the refund would be issued. Since that time we have called to see whats going on. We have been told the contract wasn't cancelled, they have 10 weeks to cancel and issue a refund, they are looking for claims, they are not cancelling it since we need it, and so on. Clearly this company is a scam. There are 2 people we have dealt with one being the worst Anthony, and the other changes his name when you speak to him, its either Adam or Gary. They hang up when you call, They refuse to answer questions, they cant tell you what company they work for, they continue to try and talk over you because they are ever so important.
The other name they go by it Car treaty and they are located in California. Using the 6 dangerous words doesn't even work with this company because they honestly don't care. Don't use this company and if by chance you are break your contract.
AUTO WARRANTY SCAM. Empire Consumer Services sells fraudulent auto policies for Liberty Auto Protection. They promise they will cover mechanical issues with your vehicle, take thousands from you, but their policy administration is another company, American Auto Shield, who denies all claims, even when the parts are listed as covered. Empire says they will get them covered but never call or email you back. Then, you are sent to the parent company, Liberty Auto Protection, who says they need more time to work with Empire to enforce American Auto to pay the claim. This is a SCAM. Your claim will NEVER be covered. DO NOT BUY AUTO WARRANTIES FROM ANY OF THESE COMPANIES.
Have had several claims concerning my transmission for my 2007 cadillac Escalade ESV first time it was throwing a code and said it was the computer but we might find something els wrong with your trassmission if we go internal. Claim denied then took for second opinion to Ted Weins Las Vegas Nevada and was told it needed a new transmission Denied Consulted with them and after several emails and talks they said to have it tron down but at that point would not pay claim
. So I took it to an Certified transmission shop and was told we need to open up the trasmission and look for the problem. I submitted my claiml. AAMCO Found that the internal pump failed causing debris to do more damage including to an electrical pressure switch but the casue of the transmission failing was result of the PUMP.....CLAIM DENIED saying it was an electrical part that caused the issue... Called warranty company told them that the AAMCO mechanics did not say it was an electrical issue it was result of a PUMP failure.... CLAIM STILL DENIED...... reson they are claiming electrical issue falure of transmission is THEY DONT HAVE TO COVER IT IF ITS ELECTRICAL.....DUH ... So they are pushing that even thought it is the result of a INternal PUMP failure.... THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE DO NOT BUY WARRANTY FROM THEM
My husband and I both purchased a waranty ciontract from Pinnacle, but at different times. He had purchased his first and never had a problem with his car so he never had filed a claim before I purchased mine. Once he filed his first claim we knew we were in trouble. He had to fight to get the service he needed done to his car for days before the brokered a deal.
the problem is that we were supposed to be covered from Bumber to Bumper like it says online and how it was explained over the phone. The Agent specifically said that "everything was covered bumper to bumper, expect normal wear and tear". This was obviously a lie. I have tried on three different occassions to have work done on my vehicle all of which was denied.
The latested is a cylinder, purge and the air conditioner, which they tell me is not covered. Previosly there was a problem with the transmission, and yet again they refused to honor the contract. It doesn't matter who you speak with on the phone, everyone is apologetic, but not willinging to honor their own contract.
My husband decided to go with a warranty agency recommened by his Mercedes dealership and hasn't had an issue, but he hasn't had a problem with his Mercedes. I drive a Buick Enclave and is in great condition, I keep up with my maintainence and service appointments.
I've never had to put more than $800 into the vehicle which just hit 100,000 miles. This Warranty Company is a scam. I stand by everything I say. If they are not willing to honor something as little as an $800 claim that should be covered under their contract, imagine if you have a major problem with your vehicle.
Please don't purchase a contract with Pinnacle, do your homework, speak with your friends and family members first or go without. I will be going without for now on.
American auto sheild/ key vehicle resources Horrible experience wouldn't honor there contact regarding my extended warranty my car been at the dealership for a week waiting on someone to come inspect my radiator for which I filed my claim note my car was at the infinitI dealer and American auto sheild want to purchase a used radiator from a junk yard for my car and we all know car dealerships don't work that way not to mention I supposedon't to have a 15000 dollar contact with American auto sheild that was purchased through key vehicle resources then they won't pay for my rental car unless they authorized repairs so basically I'm f***** I'm cancelling my policy today and looking to sue this place is one big scam
