We all know American Addiction Centers is a complete scam, you can see the other reports. As for me they used the "We record all calls” scam. I paid for one month, our call was recorded so my attorney is going to do a "Discovery” and AAC will be forced by a judge to turn over the recordings. For me they will show Jillian guaranteeing me 3 times that my fee was for a month, I asked "But what if I’m off medicine but can’t stand or function” she said "That will never happen, they’ll keep you until you’re not just off your medication but fully functional”, he’s had a few people call there since and got the identical answer. After one week they came in and said I had to go, so they owe me for 3 weeks, actually in court my attorney said they will have to pay more, enough for me to go to a detox of my choosing and they’ll have to pay until I’m fully off both medications and feeling great.
When I was at their Laguna location, I went in with $50,000.00 in cash, when you first enter they take everything away from you, I mean EVERYTHING, your not allowed necessities like under arm deodorant or shampoo or shavers, so hair grows out and you smell, then the doctor, oh my goodness a general practitioner who had no clue about drug detox, especially something complicated like Benzodiazepines and Suboxone, he gave me short acting Ativan.
I’ve studied Benzo detox for years and all experts give LONG ACTING BENZOS, they close the receptor and keep blood levels stable, longer, by giving me short acting (8 hour half life) Ativan, it opened the receptors bigger, and then cleared the system, so I’d wake up in seizure having no Benzos in my system, my present Doctor whose a Benzo expert says I could have died and probably have damaged receptors(Brain Damage) from this crazy action, since I didn’t even see the doctor for 4 days I was in agony peeing my pants as I went in and out of seizures, having hallucinations it was HELL, finally I got to speak to him, of course he got defensive I told him it’s not about him but my health and he understood when I taught him I needed long acting Benzo like Librium.
There was another lady there coming off Xanax and she was given Ativan, the doctor hid her seizure from the paperwork asking the nurse to not note it as they did me, she’s part of this class action so hope you join.
