I booked a photo booth for a party which was to begin on a Saturday night at 7:00 pm. My payment was processed promptly. At 2:00 pm on a Friday afternoon, the day before the party, America's Party company called and told me they were sorry but they would not be able to provide the service. When asked why they waited to contact me until it was too late for me to book anyone else, they had no answers. I was not allowed to speak to a suprevisor, they did nothing to even attempt to make up for their error. They did nothing to remedy the situation. This is the last time I will ever use this company and I would recommend, if you actually want services, do not book with this company and believe you have made a plan. They had every opportunity to let me know earlier that they could not provide services so I could rebook. It took over a week for the refund to be processed.

I rented a photo booth from America's Party Company on February 5, 2016. I paid America's Party Company $400.00 on February 5, 2016 as a down payment for the booth rental on my wedding day of September 24, 2016. Another $187.57 was to come out of my account on August 23, 2016.

That was the last contact I had with them until August 27, 2016 when Casey sent me an email stating as follows:

Unfortunately, we regret to tell you that we will have to cancel your upcoming service, as our credit card processor has not released the funds to us. They were withholding the funds and we were told they would be released by now but as of yet they have not been released to us.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience, but rest assured we will do everything possible to ensure that you are fully refunded and that you are able to re-schedule the service with another provider.

We have notified our credit card processor and bank that our customers will be contacting their bank requesting refunds, due to this issue. To receive an immediate refund, please contact your bank and explain this to them and they will immediately refund you the full amount paid when you tell them about this situation.

A member of our team will also be giving you a call to discuss this and offer to help you find another provider in your area.

We are sorry for this inconvenience and we will work with you to ensure that are able to re-schedule with another provider and receive a full refund.

I have tried to contact this company via email and telephone. The telephone number is always busy and no one has responded to my emails (I emailed prior to this notice and did not get a response). I sent a response back telling them my bank would not refund my money as I used my debit card and that sounded more like an issue between America's Party Company and their credit card processor. I requested a refund of my $400.00.

The people you have contact with (which you can't contact) Rhea Lucas, Casey and Paula Evangelista. I also traced one of the telephone numbers to a Manas Panda.

This company is a total scam!!! BEWARE!

They advertise on Groupon. I've reported them to Groupon, Gmail, the BBB and now here.

This is a FAKE company for REAL!! They have serveral different names and are nation wide so they say!

Booked a photo booth rental from american party company after finding them on the internet for my son's wedding. Two weeks before the wedding I called to confirm but line was busy for 2 days. Emailed them no response and finally when I did get a response they stated there funds were frozen by the bank and couldn't perform the service nor refund my money and told me to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Well, it doesn't work that way, they cashed my check which means I need to take them to small claims to try and get my money back.

DON'T EVER FUCKING USE THIS COMPANY

I paid for a photo booth four months prior to my wedding, which is in 4 days, to which I received an email saying their account is frozen so they cannot provide the services. I paid nearly $700 for this, and was told I am not able to receive a refund either. The number I was provided is disconnected. How perfect.
