Very bad !! Did not get to sleep at all got woken up in the middle of the night to loud screaming and crying and doors slamming what was going on was a couple above our room were drunk and fighting and the woman was getting beat up she was crying and yelling "your hurting me" and she was running in and out of the bathroom slamming the door while he was banging, kicking the doors, yelling at her and this went on for almost two hours, I could hear him yelling and slamming the chairs against the walls. So I barricaded the door to the room with a chair because the room doors are closet doors with only a door knob lock and no peep hole viewer ” very bad setup any body can kick the door in” and we didn’t know with all the banging of the doors if they were breaking and entering other rooms.
I email the front desk at 1:10 am but found out in the morning that no one is there after a certain hour at night and I never got a reply back that night or even after we check out. .After staying up for hours and unable to go back to sleep I waited for the noise to stop and for the sun to rise, we were afraid to go and try to leave the room. In the morning we went to the front desk and Kate was there after telling her what the night was light she tells me I should of called the police "wrong answer, i'm very sorry would of been the answer" but no apologies what so ever from Kate or anybody from America's Cup Inn. I told her for the money they charge for their rooms they can afford to hire someone to stay on the premises all night and it’s not my responsibility to contact the Police department.
The inn should have someone there to handle these situations she kept telling me she lives next door but that doesn’t help the people staying at the inn so all I got was a I should of called the police we are senior citizens we paid a lot for a night there they should be more concern of the safety and welfare of the guests that stay there . It’s best to stay somewhere else that provides someone in the office 24\7 if you value your life or your love ones.
