I use no gas at my taxidermy shop during the summer. but i still get a delivery charge and costomer charge and a meter charge fo around 65.00 i called ameren illinois and was told we will charge you what ever we want.
i told them to turn off the gas and they waited till the end of the billing period to turn it off to make sure they got the extra money i called several times to get it turned off they were told to pull their gas meter but never did as it was in the way i switched to propane and we had to work around the meter.
i later recived a letter from ameren illinois that when i turne the gas back on there will be a reconnect charge and all billing from past months while turned off will be back charged
they have a monopoly the have gas and electric and charge the same way with both bills.
im looking at my bill at home for elertric my bill is 117.40 the supply charge is 119.89 how can a supply charge be more than the bill..
thank god i have nicor for gas if im billed 26.00 it is 26.00 no add ons ameren illinois is regulated so this is were these extra charges are coming from cant raise the rate so lets charge the s**t out of the coustomer with made up charges..
sure hope you can help me and the public from being ripped off.........
