I have sent the Amendment Arms company aroud $1400.00 for a "Triple-Threat" rifle. My initial payment to them was about 2 1/2 years ago, the final payment was made more than a year ago. I visited their factory in the spring of 2014 and test-fired one of their rifles. Since that time I have e-Mailed and left telephone messages on several occasions. Only once was one of the e-Mails answered by Tom Wise and it was to tell me that he was no longer involved with the company other than as an investor. That was about 8 or 9 months ago. Since that time not a word from anyone at this company, and no rifle.
Paid for a Joshua Mk5 firearm in 2013. After 2 years of Ryan Croft saying "it is coming" they packed up their shop, moved, and changed phone numbers. No notifications to their contracted customers and certainly no deliveries. I did not receive any firearm but others did and said they were very dangerous.
Ryan Croft CEO of Amendment Arms Inc of 37 Loop Road, Arden, NC 28704 has fraudently ripped me off for approximately $1000.00 that was being paid for a Joshua MK 5 AR15/AK47 Hybrid rifle. I had almost paid off the balance when my auto-billpay check for October 2015 was returned as undeliverable/no forwarding address. I called the business & left several messages to call me but my calls went unreturned. I also could not get a reply via e-mail nor thru his personal cell phone.
I signed a contract with Amendment Arms Inc out of Arden, N.C. to buy a new product of theirs, a particular gun that was promoted to be a hybrid AR-15, AK-47 of 5.56 caliber. I sent my down payment in with the contract and watched the up dates regularly over the next year and a half on their website and received regualr updates from Tom Wise the salesman of this now to be crooked venture.
Ryan Croft was the creative genius behind this hybrid and they did a fair job of convincing me that they were in full development mode and bringing on reputable gunsmiths to bring this weapon, the Joshua MK5, into production. They kept promising they would have the finished product out in 3 to 6 months, and this time frame just kept being put back, and then back again.
Finally, this February, two years since I signed the contract for the gun, Tom Wise contacted me again with the need for more money, and that if I would pay my balance in full, they would give a FREE Chamber Polishing, and a FREE Flash Hider, and a FREE Grip Upgrade.
We corresponded again as I confirmed the total amount to be payed in full, and then I sent Tom Wise and Ryan Croft my hard earned money. Total money sent since February 14, 2013 to February 4th, 2015 was 1,056.10. I even sent a separate check for the 40 dollars "shipping" Tom Wise told me it would take to ship the new gun.
Now that the Joshua MK5 was fully paid for, Tom Wise told me via email that I would have to give them 3 to 6 months lead time before they shipped what was now MY gun. At the 6 month waiting point I contacted Tom Wise via email and never heard back from him. Then I called the Amendment Arms phone number and it was disconnected.
I then went to their website and the last update had been at the point of asking for more money in February of this year, 2015. I knew then that I had been lied to, cheated, and swindled out of 1,056.10.
Ryan Croft and Tom Wise promoted this fraud with the website statement , "WE ARE A CHRISTIAN COMPANY". Well, I have to tell you they don't know squat about what it is to be a Christian. As a Christian myself, I forgive them, but I hope they have to answer for this to the full measure of the law as fradulant devices and crooks that they are.
It's been since February since I heard from either of these thieves.
