My niece is getting married and my dad refused to buy a new dress for the wedding for mom. I told her i would buy the dress. after going through several online sites my mother finally agreed to one she loved with amdress. under the pay method they say they take pay pal how ever when you go to check out their is no link to pay pal only enter credit card information. i sent the company an email and never got a response no one was avaible for live chat at that time. I called my bank and told had the restriction lifted for nationwide debts. I finally got a hold of someone in chatt to change the address to my mothers because she lives in another state.
I sent my mom the confermation she finally recieved the dress and she sent me a e-mail that she would try it on when dad was thier to help her. I was in a slight parking accident on monday and working late and all I got my mom's email that this dress was turned in side out and when she turned it right side out the zipper was broke and brown stains all over the back. now these dresses are made to order my mom said they did not just make this dress and they new about the condition because it was turned inside out. My mom was trying to get a hold of me their is a return policy to send back in seven days.
I finally got to speak to her today and I found out what happened. this dress cost 133.97. On the site it says you have to send back the first three days you recieve it. Well with the accident and working late and all. it was to late to do anything about it. I asked my mom if she got pictures and she said this dry cleans she took it to is almost sure they can get the brown marks out and if so she has someone who will put a new zipper in for her. It is to late to do anything about it now and i do not expect to get a new dress or my money back but i do want to report what as happened. If the stains do not come out i will have her take pictures of it.
This company does not have a telephone number to get a hold of anyone and no one returns e-mails. I went against my better judgement because my mom really wanted this dress. I really wanted to use pay pal, but during check out their is no link but their is one on the confirmation e-mail after placing the order.
