Our yard has had flooding and drainage issues. We contacted 3 landscaping companies to provide estimates to resolve. 2 of the 3 recommended installing French drains. Amazing Scapes and More owner Chris Shuppe said that would not be necessary. He went on to say that by aerating, leveling and sanding the yard the issues would be alleviated, he guaranteed it.
The work done was not very professional as some spots were not even sanded/leveled and after the first rain the flooding and drainage issues were the same. After weeks of waiting, parts of the grass did not even grow back in and he said we would have the greenest more beautiful yard in the neighborhood. Overall, the yard was in worse shape than before. After he came out to look at he then gave me an estimate to add new sod in certain areas and said that would certainly fix the problem. I sent him pictures of the flooded areas and shared that we did not want to spend any more money on the yard, especially with his company. He then said we would work something, he offered to do the sod work for free. Weeks of me calling him and their office got nowhere. Finally, we decided to send him a certified complaint letter to get his attention. Still no response. I tried calling again one day and got him and I asked what resolution we could come to. He said he was "pissed off" and better not say anything at that moment he might regret. I was blown away at the lack of professionalism. I reiterated we only wanted to work something out on a professional level, it was not personal. He said his company would be responding to our certified complaint letter with their own certified letter. The letter came and it basically just gave excuse after excuse loaded with inaccuracies.
I emailed him/company and said that if we did not hear back from them by a certain point; we would then begin contacting BBB and social media. Regretfully, a professional resolution has still not occurred. From the time the service was provided 04/29/15 until today 08/10/15 we are still dealing with.
