I used this organization through a broker I have used for several years. Their job was to pick up a vehicle at an dealership and transfer it to my dealership.
When the driver arrived at the dealership I have dealt with for 15 years, he accepted the books and keys for the vehicle to be transported. He loaded the vehicle on his carrier and hit the road. He did not have anybody sign any paperwork.
When he arrived at my dealership the next day he unloaded the vehicle and brought the books and keys to the office and left. My manager went out the inspect the vehicle and found damage to the rear bumper. It looked as though the bumper of another vehicle had been rubbing against my vehicle.
My manager caught the driver before he left so he could get the driver to inspect the vehicle and get a BOL to notate the damage on. The driver did have a BOL and the notations were made.
I repaired the vehicle and delivered the car to my customer. I sent a copy of the Repair Order to Amazing Rides for payment. They said since the BOL was signed and the car accepted they are not responsible to pay, and to have a nice day. Which is rediculous. The reason to have a BOL is to notate issues and assign fault of damage. I had to take the car in because it was a sold unit, I did not have the option to refuse it.
The dealer that I got the vehicle from would have called me if their were any damage issues on the vehicle, he would not have let it be shipped with damage.
These people are refusing to pay damages and it takes several days to get any response from them. And the responses are ludicrus. I am on a mission to tell everybody I know to avoid using Amazing Rides LLC.
No stars!!! They should be out of business!! I am a car transporter and had a vehicle posted for transport. I was contacted by Amazing Rides LLC for the transport. I requested proof of insurance and a certificate was emailed to me only to find out it was a fake and they were not insured to transport cars at all!! Do not use this company EVER!
My 50 year old sign hired an auto transport company called Amazing Rides LLC out of Melrose Park, IL.
After my car was picked up they took two weeks to delivery the car. They originally told me it would take two days from point A to point B. When I received the vehicle the driver and passenger front seats were filthy. Grease stains and food wrappers and dirt everywhere. The mileage on my car was over 400 miles higher than when they picked up the car. When I asked the truck driver Pavel why the roof had a big scratch on it he said it was like that when he picked up the car. It was not. Then he admitted he hit a tree branch but called it "normal wear and tear". After asking a few other companies they all said that tree branch scratches are not normal wear and tear.
When my son set up the transport of my car he said they spoke pretty good English but when the problems started... all of the sudden nobody at their office and Pavel the truck driver started speaking broken English and they could not be understood. These guys are from somewhere near the Ukrane or something.
They should be investigated by the government. They are probably illegal aliens. They forced me to use cash when my contract allowed for money order or certified check upon delivery. I'm an old lady. I don't ever want to carry that much cash. They violated the contract with their strong arm tactics on an old lady.
