Amabrush's Original promises were a automatic toothbrush that would clean your teeth like a normal brush. since then, they now claim it is only meant for those who are "lazy" with dental hygine or who want slightly cleaner teeth after normal brushings. Many people are reporting reciving a product that does little to nothing, with backer run plaque tests showing it does little to clean, even after amabrsuhes supposed tests which they never released.
Their communication has become really poor about this, and are not doing much to help quell the ammount of concernes popping up. There are so many issues with this project that can easily be explained by the ammount of negativity and comments and even the backer reviews I shared with google docs links.
One of the main issues is: I backed this because it was supposed to be like a conventional toothbrush! Not something that only slightly cleans after normal brushing! They refuse refunds unless it is from a direct website order, which under kickstarter terms is considered okay for some reason yet kickstarter also won't explain how this is fully meeting their own obligations. This whole project is a mess, with copy paste responses from amabrush to address concerns, it feels scummy, upsetting, and annoying. If they would actually publicly communicate better and release their own studies on how this was supposed to work, I wouldn't have as many issues.
