Altitude Contractors LLC, Michael Ray Hogan I hired this contractor to remodel my stair rails. Aside from the many issues I encountered with this contractor. This one tops the cake. They talked me into an iron wall hand rail because they chopped the wooden hand rail I had purchased.
This was used between two of the newel posts. The iron hand rail was not only way too short, (needs to go top to bottom of the stairs), it was painted. You guessed it! The paint was damaged during installation. Altitude Contractors promised a new proper powder coated hand rail.
In anticipation of the new rail we took down the too short of one. Not only were the improper mounting screws used, they mounted it in the drywall! You would think they could have found a stud somewhere.
Lot's of lip service & many months later of trying to resolve this. Finally you just have to say enough is enough. I'm not only am out the dollars I paid. I have a useless short hand rail.
