I received an email that a bank account was opened on 03 September 2022. The bank is looking into HOW a fraudulent account was opened. If a bank has opened EVEN ONE account based on fraudulent information, it's a massive issue.
The bank's fraud department is "looking into it" and "restricted" the fraudulent account. But within a minute of filing the complaint someone changed the "phone banking passcode."
I was away for a week. On February 22nd I saw an email from Ally Bank about overspending on my account, we immediately sent a check to the bank the same day, but they already charged me $ 25, and the next day also $ 25. 26 Commission for overdraft to the account again $ 25 and another $ 25 for the next overdraft. So, we send the check again. I couldn't check everything on the way. We came back home today and I checked my account. Can a bank charge four times the commission for a double overdraft? Now in Covid ??
I don't work or get unemployment money and we sent the money to the bank the same day ?? I called the bank today at 20.00, the woman speaks terribly, she cannot work with people. I am going to close this bank, never had such a bad experience before, they asked to wait 10-15 minutes, but I waited about an hour. We cannot even put money in the bank, you can only transfer money from another bank It's very convenient to charge a double fee.

I have tried to fix that "WORKING TITLE" about five times...each time I remove or change something, it just takes my edit, puts it at the front and leaves what was there...I GIVE UP NOW!!! LOL

They gave me a number...$2620....I instructed Bill Pay to do a one time bank draft to them for that amount but leave the monthly payment unchanged.
Check was sent, I heard nothing back...forgot about it.
In November 2020, I get three envelopes with checks in them...8 total.
Each for $348.37. my car payment. Hmm...but NOT the WSECU bill Pay draft check...Ally's checks.
CLEARLY Ally cashed the chceks (I have the images)
And then in November, I began getting the checks back. In teh form of checks drafted against Ally's own accounts..they CASHED my payment checks...never applied them to my loan, and did not put them in an escrow of any kind...therefore the money to service my debt was being used for something else.
Two weeks before the hearing to overturn the Default Judgement they took the car.
The following Friday the default judgment was overturned and the order to take the car was voided.
When I got the car back...
Ally then had the vehicle sitting, unsecured and uncovered for two weeks prior to inspecting it.
When I got it back windows were down (only about 90 days of sun here).rains a lot
A LOT of stuff missing.
They are going to file summary judgement..ok..do that..THE FACT I HAVE IMAGES OF YOUR STAMPS ON MY CASHED CHECKS IS A MATERIAL FACT IN DISPUTE IS IT NOT? YOU claim I never sent the money.
I opened on online account with Ally Bank. Sent an $800 Internal Revenue Service Treasury Check for my initial deposit. This is a government check which is as good as cash. Ally deposited it -- then one of their rogue employees withdrew it: Basically stole it.
7 Months later they still will not reimburse me ANY of the money. They are a scam. I hope each and every employee of Ally Bank gets Cancer of the genitals and dies a painful death--and their families. They are all scumbags. And crooks. Ally Bank is a SCAM all over the USA they are an online banking company scammer.
This Bank hopefully operates within the laws of each State, pertaining to release of a paid in full vehicle title. I was advised by Ally that if I would like the Title in less than 10, thats TEN days, I could send the final payment by an Ally approved wire service and receive the title in 5 days.
I travelled to a Walmart, paid the fee, and only received an overpayment refund in 7 days, not a title! I called and was advised that the Title was mailed 7 days ago,without any tracking service. An incredibly important document, that without it my vehicle cant be sold, is sent without tracking. I have now lost the sale of this vehicle and possibly the Title!
If this title is lost I am going to have to go try and complete a lengthy process with my State Motor Vehicle Division. Ally wilI blame the USPS, but it will be totally their fault for not providing tracking. We are in the year 2019, and Ally Bank is providing customer service common in 1919. Stay far away from this internet so called Bank. I didnt and Im truly paying the price for my poor decision.
Ally bank Worst company ever... I asked for lease extension.... first rep mailed it then said never received it back even then I sent it certified and it was signed for. They started calling me daily with collection action threats. This group of reps are in Philippines.... I was unable to understand any of the reps I spoke with and They had no idea what was going on..... when I asked to speak with a rep in bloomington they told me they didnt have number to the collection dept. So your telling me collection calls come from Philippines but the dept. Is in Bloomington and they have NO idea what is going on with there Philippine counter part.... WHAT A SCAM! ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OUT OF COLLECTIONS AND PAY FOR THE ACCOUNT. Each phone call takes an hour to get nowhere with this POS ally bank!!
They charge almost $9 a day late fee everyday you're behind. This is up to $300 a month. I fell behind due to a divorce. I sent money and did all they said. They DID NOT do what they agreed so I am unable to get the payments caught up. I send a full payment of $589 and the take $300 of it for finace charges. This keeps my car payment behind and they keep adding more and more charges. I also paid them $1000 one month to get caught up. Most went to charges and they still tried to repo. I will never do any kind of business with them again. I thank a law suit should be filed for over and double charging late and financial fees. They need to be stopped robbing people.
Ally Bank touts themselves as top 24hour bank by Money Magazine, 5years running. In truth they only process transactions from 9AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday. This applies to opening accounts, funding accounts, attemps close accounts, attempts to retreive deposits made to Ally Bank. Customer care Phone Number; has nothing to do with were deposits are sent. Chartered in Utah, Deposits philadelphia pa;Customer Service horsham pa and 9 other states. None are capable of 24 hour money transactions.
If You beleive in Fairy Tales this is the Bank for You. Your little local Monday thru Friday 9to3 Bank can do customer service just as well if not better. You may not get anyone to answer phone and tell you they can not help you with that: CALL BACK DURING BANKING HOURS???
Ally use to be good. But sadly this is no longer the case. They have raised fees. Put $10 cap on ATM fee reimbursement. They also are scandalous in there system. Debits are applied before credits which means if you have low balance and have a bill on auto pay and you put money in your account the same day, the bill is paid first and you are charged an overdraft fee which is now $25 a hit. Also if you have an both an Ally savings and Checking account with overdraft protection with less than $100 in savings, But enough money to cover overdraft, they will still overdraft your account, and hit you with their fee. You get 1 overdraft fee reimbursement for the Lifetime of the account. Not monthly or annually LIFETIME OF THE ACCOUNT. Worst of all is there TERRIBLE Customer service which btw is only 24/7 phone or email now. All the things that made Ally great are now gone. Best to look else where for your online banking needs.
I have tried for several months to discuss and old acct with Nuvell aka Ally. The Reps are very rude and transfer me to the collection agency Synergetic, who has sent a letter that states the acct is out the SOL and they are not reporting it. However, Nuvell/Ally report this acct as 90 days late, then the next month it is 0/0/0, sent to collections, when the collection agency has stated it is old andno longer valid. I have sent a certified letter and am waiting for a response. They are reporting last date of payment activity falsely, falsely saying it has been sent to collections and stating it is past due. When I try to talk to someone they state they no longer are handling the acct and to call the collection agency. Why would I call an agency that is not reporting anything and has told me the account is old? I have filed with the BBB and am going to file a complaint with my AG if I don't get a response from the company and the credit companies that I have notified.
I have never dealt with a co that wont even talk to you about money. I know I have rights all the way up to 1k in damages if they dont take care of this!
I bought a car in May 2014 and took out a 6 year loan. By September I paid ahead and only had 3 payment left of just over 1100 dollars. I kept getting calls that a missed payments and that I was 4 payments behind!!! I told them that I was 60 payments ahead and was going to finish paying off car on May - 5 years ahead of schedule!!! They said no that I need to make a payment! Well the car was repossessed last night and trying to get it back has been a nightmare!!!! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!!! Can't speak English or understand math!!! I should sue!!!
