The scenarios are the same. The scam is well rehearsed and it would seem the only recourse presently is to cancel your credit card to prevent further charges. Not only is this company disreputable but the product can cause significant side effects including facial swelling and burning. I was informed by a third party contact group that there was no manager or contact information for direct contact with company representatives. The third caller individuals never fully identified their company, the names may even be fictitious and after negotiating a potential refund I was informed if I did not receive my refund not to call the number on my credit card bill but to contact the credit card company to resolve my dispute. I should also mention the numbers I have seen posted for contact resolution do not coincide with the numbers posted on my credit card bill. This would lead me to believe there are roving numbers dispersed among the illegitimate representatives who may also be participants of this scam. As consumers we can only hope that organizations such as Allumiderm can permanently be shut down.
I was on Facebook and advertisements are everywhere you scroll.. The first sign that I should have ran away was when this company is telling me a big time celebrity is quiting to start their own business to own this business... so you look to see what they are advertising.. and wonder..this may be a good product to try...so you go for the FREE TRIAL but pay shipping gimmack but when the product comes to you.their is NO INVOICE OR TELEPHONE NUMBERS in the package to contact them to CANCEL before TRIAL DATE. You are excited to try to see if it works day in and out to see results and nothing..next thing you know you a being billed for $89.. and $86.. You call your bank and they give you the number to call them...now its lets make a deal with them.. "How did you like the product? I said replied its to early to tell, she like just keep using it..I will charge you half and send you some more products.. etc
Yet in still you charged me and NEVER GAVE ME A WAY TO CONTACT YOU... I went to my bank and and they so called investigated and reversed the charge back out of my account..the bank said the company had paperwork from the internet but no one would give me a copy. I called Allumiderm AGAIN & THEY wouldn't give me paperwork either. I keep asking what am I being charged for when they haven't sent me any products, just the trial offer? I am closing that bank and also filing paperwork with the Better Business Bureau. You can not send out products on a trial basis without paperwork or a invoice expecting someone to cancel by a deadline without a telephone number!! I dont even believe it has been 2 weeks since they billed me..
I signed up for a "free trial offer" after paying the 4.95 and 5.95 shipping fee. I received the face and eye cream. Just 2 weeks later I am charged 176.90 out of my bank account. I called to cancel my subscription and to request my money be returned as I just received the trial and haven't had the chance to truly try it. I was told by "Diego" that I signed a "contract" and he would not be able to refund my money. He kept trying to convince me to try the product and how happy I would be with it. He was even going to send my another bottle "free".....in the end I got 50% of my money returned. Pretty crappy marketing scheme.
The site offered a free sample , $5.95 for shipping. The claims, stories, ads were all false, made-up famous people supposedly using their product. I ordered a free sample. Two weeks later I was charged $89.95 for supposedly signing up for that.
It was impossible to see the terms of agreement. They were deliberately burried in minutely small print that only could be read with a magnifier. It is a deliberate rip off and scam to filch money from innocent victims. A company is legally obliged to explain their terms in a readible and obvious manner. Alluderm deliberately concealed the terms in order to gain a massif rip-off.
When I called they at first offered me a $30 reduction. I insisted all of my money returned . They argued and argued and finally said they had all the lawyers and legality behind them and there was nothing I could do.
I purchased what I thought was a sample of an eye cream. Paid only shipping. I learned later that if you don't return unused product within 14 days they will charge you for the sample and automatically enroll you in auto shipments. The company told me it is a trial and not a sample.
I paid 4.95 for the sample and they also billed me 5.95 for a face cream that they sent also. I figured that was OK because they did send the other product. This was 9-4-2017
On 9-17-2017 they billed my credit card 86.95...on 9-20-2017 they billed my credit card 89.95, Then on 10-17-17 they billed my credit card again for 92.90.
I called the company and was told it was a trial and not a sample. Because I did not return the product within 14 days, they charged my credit card for the original product and enrolled me in auto shipments.
The company said they could offer me 35% discount retroactive and on all future orders. I said I do not want 35% discount on a product I do not want. I declined and I am sending back the unused portion of original shipment plus the product that I received yesterday.
Hopefully this will stop future shipments and charges on my credit card. I will call the credit card company today also. Lesson learned !!!
The supervisor I spoke to said I did not worry him with my threats of BBB, Attorney, Credit card company or the bank. He said if they were worried, they would issue a credit. I told him I was done talking to him, said bye and hung up. He called me back 3 times before I could get him blocked on my phone.
I entered a trial for eye and skin care thru Allumiderm Eye Enhancement Formula and DHN Beautifulskin, I was initially charged 4.95 for eye and 5.95 for derm.
I wasn't told to call in 14 days or I would be automatically billed and shipped their products, $92.90 for eye and $94.90 for derm.
When I recieved the shipment I called on 3 Oct 2017 and spoke to a girl named Ylianna, she assured me I would receive 30 additional days,,,,free to try the product. If I wasn't happy I could cancel by 28 Nov 2017.
Then I received my bill in the mail on 14 Oct 2017, I phoned the support division and spoke to Olivia, she said she was unable to refund my money even if I sent back the unopened box, which incidentally does nothing that is claimed by the company in skin care.
I reported this transaction to my credit card company and filed a dispute for the charges. Unfortunately all they are able to do is stop any further transactions. They are not able to get my almost $200.00 in charges reversed.
This transaction has completely convinced me to never, ever, enter into any such contract online or on the phone again. I am in the process of alerting all my friends and anyone who will listen not to do business with this particular company.
I went through the same scamming scheme as everyone else has posted and after informing the company that I was allergic to their product and willing to send their product back, they still refused to refund me. So, I filed a dispute through my bank and after several months my bank notified me that the dispute had been settled and Allumiderm refunded what I had paid.
I ordered this trial offer after very carefully checking the advertisement for the small print about any possible future charges. There are none. The email they sent me confirming the shipment did not state any. When multiple charges started showing up on my credit card statement my only contact was SUPPLEBODY, a clearing house for the scam artists. They claimed I had 14 days upon receipt of the trial size to return the bottle or be charged about $90 for it and future orders. WHAT?
Upon further research I saw that some episode on Shark Tank featured Allumiderm, which has since changed names at least twice in an obvious attempt to avoid the prosecution mentioned in the earlier report. They have Oprah Winfrey and other stars promoting it. I cannot believe that these respectable actors and shows stand behind such deceptive advertising practices. Letters should be sent to these entities having them do a retraction, in my opinion.
On Facebook ordered what i thought was a free trial of skin care product called allumiderm. With no mention from the company that after 30 days they ongoing automatically charge your card $89.95 a month. I did not give this permission.and very upset...i called them and wad told to deal with it very rudely..someone pleade help me i cannot affor this bill nor can i afford itbin collections
The same exact same thing happened to me. So, I filed a dispute through my bank. My bank immediately refunded me the $89.95 charge and began an investigation. After a month or so my bank reported to me that the dispute was settled and the company refunded all of the money.
On Internet as I recall it said Megyn Kelly or a lady I thought respectable, used Allumiderm. I read a couple of reviews which were positive for the product. It was $4.95 for shipping or handling. I ordered it. They also offered an eye cream which I did not want but was on order. I called and they cancelled it, I do not recall how long it took to receive the product. My VISA bill arrived and I about collapsed because in addition to the $4.95 charge (8/27/17) there was an $89.95 charge (9/10/17). I called the number on my VISA statement. The gal said I had to call within 14 days to cancel. She said it was in the contract. I do not recall reading that. Additionally, There was nothing in the box other than the product. Nothing. I thought strange that no number to call to order more if one liked the product. Now I know why. They don't have to sell more than one trial to a person and they make big bucks. Secondly, it would not have made a difference in my case because my VISA bill arrived long past the allotted time to cancel, but they charge you 14-15days after the order not 14 days after the product is received. In my opinion this is a scam. Not sure that the product is all it is cracked up to be and their marketing is less than honorable. They offered to give me a discount on my next bottle. I told her there would be no next bottle and to take me off any list they have. I was done with them. I do not recall reading anything about their cancellation policy, and the way advertised is deceiving at best. I wondered how one would order a bigger size if they so chose. All automatic....is how!
Forget about whether this product works or not. It's still a scam and the people responsible should be arrested. They make their money by lying and saying it's a free bottle. Once they get your credit card info, they feel free to charge you anything they want to. I am an elderly woman on a VERY limited income, and I have been charged over $360.00 so far, which I certainly can't afford. I was even reluctant to spend the $4.95 shipping fee. Can't something be done about these crooks? It seems to be common knowledge now, yet they are allowed to continue ripping people off. I sure could use my $360. back, but was told there was no way to get it back.
This is a big scam. I am out $364.70. Seems like everyone is writing in to complain, but don't intend to push the issue. Can't we all get together and stop these crooks? Count me in if anyone has any ideas. I didn't even want to give ONE star, but no stars was not an option!
I was scammed by Allumiderm and ad was on Facebook. I was told to pay shipping and handling $4.95 for trial size and later was charged 89.95 and when I contacted company I was told they wouldn't refund my money. Normally a trial size is 30 days I was told I didn't contact them in 14 days. The company is using Ayesha Curry (Stephen Curry wife name) . The women I spoke with tried to get me to purchase more by offering me a discount of 35% and when I said no she said well what about 50%.
I had ordered the product on Aug. 5th. However I did not receive the product to try until Aug 26. therefore I did not have the two weeks as advertised to use the product and the company charged me $89.90 for the product . Their rhetoric is that it does not matter since if you ordered two weeks prior and did not receive the product..oh well too bad! I have a witness to this and will like for consumers to be aware of these rip off beauty products...and this is all Oprah Winfrey's fault because her name is tied to the product.
I ordered a sample of eye youth remedy for shipping cost. I received a bottle of allumineye and a bottle of youthful skin pro. My bill on my credit card was $4.95 and$5.95. Ok they got it wrong but $ 5.95 I won't complain. I got my credit card bill yesterday and the first charge was eye youth remedy for 86.95 and youthful skin pro for $89.95. Last two charges eye youth remedy $92.90 and youthful skin pro $94.90! That's $375.54 for what I thought was a $5 sample. I was dumb. Could not read and very tied as it was in the middle of the night. Do not ever get a sample if you don't call them in 14days you get charged full price for the sample and you are signed up for auto ship.
Do not waste your time and hard earned money getting Allumiderm Skin care. I ordered the Allumiderm Moisturizing Anti-Aging Serum and Allumineye Rejuvenating Eye Cream on 7-15-2017. Only $4.95 each for a 14 day free trial. Nothing in this product is free. If you manage to cancel in the 14 days, you have to send the product back at your expense. And if you cancel in the time frame, keep you cancellation number! My cancellation somehow, did not go through and I did not have the cancellatioin number. In short, My bank account was charged $187.80 on August 28, 2017. Hmmmm. 6 weeks after the order. When I contacted customer service, I let the person know that I only used the product 3 times and each time my eyes would tear up. Could I return the product? Nooo. Then, What I am suppose to do with an un-usable product and $187.80 bill. Her suggestion was to sell it to a friend or family member. Please, no one would even pay $20 for it. So I am just stuck with it. A valuable lesson that should not happen to consumers.
I agreed to the free trial online of Allumiderm skin cream and agreed to pay the shipping of $4.95. However, I received the skin cream AND Allumineye eye cream and was charged shipping for both products.
The product seemed very watered down and was certainly less efficient than even generic OTC similar products.
To my dismay, I then received a second shipment of both products and found myself charged an additional $89.95 and $86.95 respectivly for each cream. I could buy 9 much more efficient OTC products for that outrageous price!
Using their enclosed advertising card that claimed "We want you to be satisfied" and "100% customer satisfaction", I call their customer service number. Twice.
The first rep did her broken record routine of "no refunds or returns after the trial period." But did tell me that I would be responsible for shipping and charged a restocking fee if I returned my sealed products. Knowing that would be substantially less than the $180, I was willing to do that. She told me I would have to speak to a manager. Who, conveniently, was at a meeting (7:00 pm on a Friday night). But she would cancel my future orders.
I called back on Monday morning, repeated my request to "Tenesha" who claimed that she was quite capable of handling my request and I did not need a manager. She reviewed the cancellation of future skin cream orders but was glad that I was satisfied with the eye cream (WHAT?). I informed her that it was my intent to cancel future orders for both products! Tenesha went on to say that, apparently, I had been misinformed, they do NOT accept the product back. When I asked about the 100% customer satisfaction she also took the broken record approach; "I am sorry that you are not satisfied." I am now saddled with a $177 charge and 4 containers of useless products!
Do NOT agree to this free trial. It is NOT free, the product is watered down and ineffective and the company does NOT support their claim of 100% customer satisfaction. I should have "Googled" the company first; this forum is not the only one hosting complaints against the Allumiderm company!
I ordered a trial size of the allumiderm face serum for $4.95 Aug. 12, I checked my credit card acct and notice the charge me $5.95 for another trial product I didn't order. On August 26 my credit care was charge 86.95 and 89.65 that was not authorized inhcall my bank had my card blocked, was told by bank to notify the co. The customer service representative was nasty told me that I was paying for the trial size, I ask to speak to a supervisor she said that the will be in a meeting until tomorrow I ask what city were they in she said Utah which is a state that she was not allowed to give out the city. This is a scam for real and I need my money from these people.
I guess that this is your typical BYER beware. I ordered 2 free trial products from Allumiderm - Allumineye for the price of shipping and handling $10.90 on August 13,2017. On Sunday 8/27/17 there is a charge for $176.90 on my bank card. I Call the 888 number that is on my bank statement and I'm told that I didn't call within the 14 day trial period to cancel so I was charged the full price for the products!!!! ALSO, since I didn't cancel within the 14 days(which by the way started WHEN the order was placed) that I would NOT get a refund!! Wow...smh, THIS is why I will stick with Proactive...MUCH better customer service. Proactive really cares if you're satisfied OR not. Allumiderm-Allumineye, the don't care about your satisfaction...just your money
I saw a product on line aging skin n eye cream it said trial size pay for shipping and handling. Never saw in 14 days to cancel. They sent two small bottles and charge me 200.00 they said I can't return the product. Went to a site where there is so many people complaining about the same scam. How so many people never saw that up I had to cancel in 14 days it never exist until you call and they tell you about it.
This company uses hidden methods to take money from your account. Nowhere in the ad does it tell you that if you do not cancel the product in 14 days will you be charged for it nor does it tell you the amount you will be charged. I have copies of the original ad. It says that you pay shipping charges for the product. It uses the word TRIAL in the ad. I was not even home when the product arrived. I was on vacation. In the meantime, I had an accident where I shattered my wrist and had to have surgery. I did not even have the chance to open it let alone have a chance to try it. The original charge was on July 15th. I did not see the charge until my statement came at the end of July, at which time I called the bank to complain about it. I called each of the TWO companies to complain and cancel. In the meantime, on August 15th, I was charged for another order.
When I called to complain to the Customer Care line, I spoke to an individual there, Jason, who told me the bank could not do anything about it and wanted to explain to me why. I told him that I did not want to hear his reasoning for it that I would let my bank handle it. He called and left a message stating that he had called me back twice but I did not answer. He wanted to let me know about the refunds he wanted to offer me. I have the message from him saved on my phone. He also told me that no refunds could be issued until I called that number. I called that number today and first spoke with a man named, Christian, who asked me to hold so he could find the information and was turned over to Breaha (although I am not sure that is how to spell her name). She told me that I did sign up for the product and that it stated that if it were not canceled in 14 days, I would be charged the full amount. Nowhere on that ad did it ever state that. I have a copy of the ad. She told me I am not due any refund.
As far as I am concerned this is false advertising and fraud. I am hoping that the Federal Trade Commission will look into this outright deception to consumers. Because I was not aware of any of the charges until too late, I am out $364.70 for a "TRIAL" product that I not only did not use but certainly do not want. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! If you also have been tricked into this.....here is the information you need, ALLUMINEYE REJUVENATING CREAM; PHONE: 1(877) 631-1669 and ALLUMIDERM SERUM; 1(877) 631-1620. CUSTOMER CARE for their product is; 1 (977) 631-1669. If you too have been ripped off by this company, please file a report!
I stated it was ok for them to send me a free item and I would pay $4.95 postage. The next thing I knew, they had mailed me more product and charged my card 99.00. I did not order any more of the product.
*I order a sample off the internet for skin remedy formula and qci eyelastic for $4.95 shipping and was billed $10.90 (which i pd. I never rec'd the samples except a .50oz rejuvenating eye cream and .5 oz of luxurious moisturizing anti-aging serum. I then was bill on my visa billed for $89.95 for the skin remedy formula and $86.95 for the qci eyelastic. when i called the co, the lady stated that that was the samples. I was to call co and cn after 7 or 10 days or i would be billed for it. I went on the web and couldn't find that in writing and it wasn't in with my shippment. she stated that i could get 50% off my bill. but that was the only thing i could get back. and if i saw a lawyer, i would not get the 50%off. so i still owe them $86.95. what a rip off and i told her thAT they were ripping people off. thank you for your help allumiderm 1175 baker st ste E19228 costa mesa ca costa mesa ca 92626-1169*
On or about June 17, 2017 I was searching the internet for various items, nothing special. During my search I would click on items and look at what they were good for and pricing but I was just 'window shopping'. Apparently, I checked out the Allumiderm site...I began the order process filling out name and address, etc., then decided I was not really interested in product. I 'Xed' out the information I had entered and closed the site. I never completed or submitted an order. Later I received an order confirmation by email (dated 6/17/17 @7:53 AM)! I saw this email for the first time on 6/23/17 and immediately replied to the email that I "DID NOT ORDER THIS!!
Customer service replied so I know they received it and I again replied by email on 6/24/17 "DID NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!" this email was received by them also. I had been out of town for a few weeks without access to email. When I returned and checked my credit card statement I was shocked to see a charge for $94.90 from a company called Skin Restore (I had not received any product) I found a phone number for them on line which was also Allumiderm. I spoke to Yatt and requested my money back. was refused but she cancelled the account. Now I've received product, I spoke with Marcus today 8/20/17 he stated they will not accept product return or give a refund. This is a scam to the elderly among others
Told person on phone I did not want as I was them sure it was a problem. Charged me for shipping, then in 14 days another $89.95, then in a month when I received another bottle of product I was charged another $94.90 for a product I do not want. Companies should not be allowed to offer "free" products when they are clearly a scam. I was offered a "free" skin care product from Allumiderm after completing some survey. It turned out to cost me $189.80 for a product that I do not want. Was told company does not accept returns nor would refund amount. It appears many are being scammed and there is nothing we can do about it. If anyone know other steps I can take so others will not be scammed as, any of us already have, please let me know.
I did not see any information about automatic shipping when I was purchased a trial. I never got an email with how it worked or to remind me when I was about to be charged. I was charged $86 and I can't return the product even though there's a 100% Guarantee on it. This is robbery.
I ordered the Rejuvenating eye cream and the serum. I bet they target older people like myself.
I agreed to pay $4.95 and $5.95 respectfully for trial size of product, 2 weeks later out of nowhere was charged $175.00, never agreed to it, nor did I see anywhere that I needed to cancel before the initial 30 days was over.
l fell for the ad also. A trial size free ...all I paid was for shipping. Then without my consent, was charged $89.95 and also $86.95 for a product I did not choose to purchase. Called the phone number and had a very rude rep who talked over me and wouldn't refund the charges on my account. Talked to a gentleman who said the same. They can not refund my charge even though I did NOT consent to purchasing the product. What kind of scam is this???
Never heard of a business who went ahead without my consent to buy. The ad said "trial".... The Gentleman also said he would refund 50% of the charge... NO... Not good enough.... Then I did get an e-mail stating that the two charges for $89.95 and $86.95 would be refunded. We'll see... I didn't see where I had to cancel either.... Ladies beware of these people.
I went to the website and put in my information. Then I read the details and decided I didn't want to receive more and clicked out of the site. Unfortunately, I had put my credit card information in, but did not click on place order. It went through any way and when I called. He said he couldn't change it and I could call and tell them I didn't want any more. I recieved a charge on my account 14 days later and again in August for $92.90 for the Elegant Eye and $94.90 for the Elite Skin Complex, which is all Allumiderm. When I called to say I was returning the box I had just received. They told me they do not take returns and would not return any charges made to my account. I cancelled as of 8/7/2017, but was charged for two items I did not want. I have never ordered something that could not be returned, especially, if the box had not been opened. The company is a scam.
I ordered samples of AllumiDerm off of Facebook. I received my samples for same thing like $10.00 . I was looking at my checking account and scene I was charged $86.95 for eye formula. Then there was a second withdraw for $89.95 for skin logistics. There was a phone number I called and was on hold for over a half hour. Then the gentalman said I couldn't get a refund. That I was entered into a legal contract that couldn't be broken. I argued with him that I want my money back. He then agreed to give me back only 35% of my money back. He said I should have read the fine print. I guess I'm another customer that got screwed and no way to get all my money back. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Kathy from Pennsylvania
I was suckered into buying a skin cream from Allumiderm on 6/16/17 via a Facebook ad for $5.95. There were all these famous people with testimonies of using the cream. When I was purchasing the cream there was a very sneaky thing that happened which should have raised a red flag for me, but they somehow charged an additional $4.95 and threw in another cream while I was confiming my purchase. It struck me as very deceptive. I received an email with a receipt confirming my purchase. I got the products a week or two later, tried them for awhile, didn't find them very helpful and quit using them. I forgot all about it until I was examining my credit card statement today. They have charged me 4 additional times since ordering the first cream: $86.95 on 6/29/17, $89.95 on 6/30/17, $94.90 on 7/28/17, and $92.90 on 7/29/17!!!!!!!!!!!!! A total of $364.70 since my initial purchase and I have not received a single product from them in the mail or any email receipts confirming any additional purchases!!!!!!!!!!! I immediately phoned their customer care at 888-229-1035 and spoke to Greg. He told me that when I had ordered the creams that I had signed an agreement to receive products monthly after my initial purchase. I disputed this and said I never signed such a form and even if I did I had not received any products. He said they just shipped me some products a couple of days ago and that because I had signed an agreement for the monthly service he could not grant me a full refund. He first offered a 35% refund. I refused and said I would report them to the BBB and my bank and get a full refund. He then said he could give me a 50% refund, but no more. This continued until I refused and ended the call. He called me back and offered a 75% refund, his final offer!!!! He also threatened me that no one is able to get a full refund by disputing the charges and so I should accept his 75% offer. Ridiculous!!! I called my bank and they are working with me to investigate this scam and dispute the charges. I also got a new card to avoid more charges.
I ordered a sample of the Allumineye cream online for $5.95, however somehow by accident I also ended up getting signed up for the skin cream "Alluminderm" for $4.95. At the time I figured an additional $4.95 no big deal ...My paperwork says I ordered June 29th, and my shipping confirmation paperwork says it shipped out the same day. On July 17th I called and talked to customer service to say that I had received my "samples" (which were a full size product) and that I wanted to discontinue (just in case this was one of those things that you continue to get without knowing you are signed up for it, been there - done that!) I received confirmation by email that I was cancelled. I thought ok good - took care of that, until I saw my credit card bill. I had been charged for $86.95 and $89.95 for the 2 products. When I called customer service again and explained that I had cancelled my "subscription" and that I had still been charged additional money for the product. I was told that I had not cancelled during the "trial period" which is 14 days. So then I asked how much time they allow for shipping, he replied they allow 3 to 4 days for shipping. I then said ok if you take 14 days for the trial period and add 3 to 4 days for shipping then my cancellation would land within that time frame. I was then told that the shipping time is included in the 14 day trial period, how can you call the time in transit a trial period!! I asked the customer service rep if all this was on their website, I was assured that it was, however I do not remember seeing or reading it. I will be going on their website to see if I can find it there. I also asked him if I could send the product back and get refunded because I had not even opened the skin cream and he told me that since I did not cancel within the trial period that he could not refund my money then either! So there is NOT a money back guarantee!! I actually doubt that even if I had called sooner that I would not have been refunded. PLEASE BEWARE don't order this product, I highly doubt that you will only pay $4.95 or $5.95, you will be charged the full 86.94 and 89.95!!
I ordered what was advertised as a free trial . Less than a week later they took $89.95 out of my acct. I read everything written on the free trial offer and it said nothing about them taking money out of out of my acct in the future
I ordered Allumiderm sample to try it. I had two charges on my CC for $4.95 and $5.95.This is what was expected. Two weeks later they charged $86.95 and $89.95 which was a complete surprise. I called the phone numbers on my CC twice and got two different answers as to why. The first person I talked to (named Tony) stated the charge was for a subscription to something. (He could not tell what the subscription was). I was then sent an email saying they would refund 35% of the charges. (which has not happened yet). I called again and talked to Ariana. She told me the charges were for full sized bottles of the skin creme. There was nothing in the fine print about a subscription nor did I ever agree to make any purchase. I have not received anything other the the samples which I did not like.
I ordered a "free" sample of a product called Allumiderm via a Facebook ad. The shipping was $4.95. I saw no mention of continuing charges or "membership" of any type. However today a charge of $89.95 showed up on my charge card. My credit card company immediately alerted me of potential fraudulent charge, and told me to call the company and cancel the "subscription." When I called, the agent had the nerve to tell me that I need to pay the balance for the cream, which came with the serum that I did not order. My credit card company had declined to pay for the cream when Allumiderm attempted to charge for it. When I refused to pay, the agent I spoke to had the nerve to tell me that they'll send the case to collections if I refuse to pay and it'll affect my credit. I said I'm calling to cancel today to get a refund. She said no refund will be given because even though today's the 14th day, I should have called to cancel before the credit card charge showed up. She said I should have paid attention to fine prints and that I signed up for the trial. I can put the charge in dispute and my credit card company will not make payment. I've seen other complaints about this company on your site. The bill on my credit card said nothing about Allumiderm but was JIS Youth Skin Remedy.
I ordered a fee trial of Allumiderm Serum and Eye Cream agreeing to pay S&H. Checked out my credit card statement a couple of days after I received the products only to find I had been charged $89.95 and $86.95. I contacted Citibank and filed a dispute. I also contacted the company and was told there was nothing they could do as I had not followed the guidelines in their Policy and Terms statement, which I never saw.
Responded to advertisement for trial Allumiderm serum and Allumineye cream for shipping & handling only. Expected small trial size product but received what appeared to be full size product. Looked at bankcard statement to find the S&H charges as advertised but also, after a couple of days, there appears on my statement charges of 86.95 and 89.95. Nowhere in the advertisement, order confirmation, or shipping confirmation does any charge appear other than the shipping & handling. I have not called the company yet nor have I contacted my bank card as I have just discovered this racket.
Allumidern - Alumineye advertises a face cream that gives instant results, which means I should have known better. The "free" sample seemed like a good idea, since I had to only pay $4.95 for shipping. I did not see anything that indicated that the sample would arrive with a full product that I did not order at all, or that I would be charged around $90 for it.
I started to receive this every month, so I did not open the second box at all, and called to tell them to cancel my account, and that I'd be returning the product. They told me they would not reimburse me. I asked for the supervisor, and someone named "Raymond" got on the phone and repeated that I would not receive a refund, nor would he pass my call on to his supervisor. Raymond said his supervisor doesn't take calls, and he doesn't usually, either.
They kept trying to get me to not cancel, but to accept a reduced price. I told them that the product didn't work, so why would I want to continue to receive it? And that they had the worst customer service, ever.
I ordered the free samples of face cream and eye cream. My receipt did not have anything on it about retuning it in 14 days or I would be charged $160. Was shocked when I saw the charge on my credit card today. I called the company and was told I had no choice, I did not return the unwanted product. Was finally given credit for half the amount. I still feel this is unfair. This company should be put out of business for unfailing advertising.
Allumiderm is a scam, they take your money after you buy the free sample that cost $4.95 but actual cost is $89.95. You have to check a box for permission to take $4.95 from your card not realizing they are actually taking a higher amount of money from you. I saw the ad on facebook saying is was a beauty line by Victoria Osteen so I decided to try it. It is not worth $175.00 and there was no information no matter what they say telling me I would be charged that amount. Just a scam for the greedy!!!
This company offered a trial offer for eye cream only pay shipping I recievd face cream and got charged 89.00 dollars for something I didn't order when I called the company the person who helped me asked me if I read the fine print I couldn't believe my ears I wanted to send this product back and get my money she said I could not I wouldn't want anyone else to lose their hard earned money please beware of this company and their practices.
I ordered this product Allumiderm as a trial. I went through a link on a website stating that Joanna Gaines is getting out of her HGTV business to focus on her new skin care line. I really like her and respect her so thought why not give it a try. No where on the website did it say it would be a reoccurring charge. It took several days to get to my house. Then there was never any information or form mailed with the product. I tried to call the company to make sure this wasn't an auto ship deal. The first guy I talked to had no idea what he was doing....or at least acted like he didn't. After 20 minutes on the phone I gave up and said I would call back later. A few days later I called back and spoke to a "Melissa". She was very unhelpful and basically said there was nothing she could do except to give me a 35% discount. I did not agree to it and demanded my money back. She hung up on me. I then called back and talked to another gal and she had no clue what she was doing and kept putting me on hold. Then came back and said there was nothing she could do so I asked to talk to a manager. He gave me the same song and dance. I explained to him I had called back during my "trial" period but the guy did not know what he was doing. The manager then said that all of their calls are linked to a phone number and there would have been record of it and he did not show that. Then he went on to say that I had agreed to the 35% discount. LIE! The agent hung up on me when I started to pressure her about gettting my money back. This whole thing and this entire company is nothing but a scam. They are crooks and are taking people's money. I am so surprised Joanna Gaines is even associated with such an unethical company. So disappointing. Beware. I would not trial this product. They will lie and figure out a way to scam you.
I received a survey saying it was a Comcast survey. It wasn't. I completed the survey and was offered a gift. I picked my gift and gave my credit card for shipping. After that my confirmation email informed my it was a trial. I called immediately and cancelled. They shipped several days later anyway. My credit card is handling the charges and getting them reversed.
Thanks to your report I called to follow up on my order of today. I too agreed to pay the $4.95 shipping for a free 14 day trial . When I called and confronted them , the rep Jason said that if I cancel within the 14 days I would have been under obligation with them. So he extended my account to 30 days and if I call to cancel betweenn7.15 and 7.22 I will be totally released and free if any further obligation . His employee number is 78966. He also. Skins that our conversation was being recorded. And I made him repeat all this 5 different ways. Let's see what happens. But I am still going to follow up with other agencies.
The advertisement read as a 10-day free sample. No where in the advertisement indicated the amount would be a higher amount. I received the product less than a week ago, not even 10 days. I have the boxes and the package it came in since my recycle bin is not yet full; otherwise it would have been discarded. Fortunately I have the packaging and the box the merchandise came in. This is a deceptive company and I feel humiliated by being taken advantage of. I have reported the problem to my credit card company.
This is a free trial offer scam. i agreed to receive a free trial bottle of allumineye skin cream. I also agreed to pay $4.95 for s&h. when the product arrived, they also included a trial sized container of allumiderm skin (which i did not order) cream. since i didn't orider it, i assumed it was just a free sample Less than two weeks after I received these items, over$175.00 was charged to my credit card by these people. i went through a living hell trying to get my money back. in the end, i was only able to recover 75% of what they stole from me. i later found out that the ftc has filed a law suit against these free trial offer skin care companies. i sincerely hope this company is being sued also. i could take them to small claims court and i could win. because they wouldn't bother to show up. i could get a judgement but i'd never be able to collect plus i'd get stuck with the court cost! my only source of satisfaction here is that tbis complaint might stop others from sending them anymore money.
Allumiderm Reviews
Dangerous Product
Scam
I went through the same scamming scheme as everyone else has posted and after informing the company that I was allergic to their product and willing to send their product back, they still refused to refund me. So, I filed a dispute through my bank and after several months my bank notified me that the dispute had been settled and Allumiderm refunded what I had paid.
This follow up to the Rip Off Report of 6/2017...
Allumiderm scam
SHAME ON ALLUMIDERM
Forget about whether this product works or not. It's still a scam and the people responsible should be arrested. They make their money by lying and saying it's a free bottle. Once they get your credit card info, they feel free to charge you anything they want to. I am an elderly woman on a VERY limited income, and I have been charged over $360.00 so far, which I certainly can't afford. I was even reluctant to spend the $4.95 shipping fee. Can't something be done about these crooks? It seems to be common knowledge now, yet they are allowed to continue ripping people off. I sure could use my $360. back, but was told there was no way to get it back.
SHAME ON ALLUMIDERM
Allumiderm Elegant Eye Youth
l fell for the ad also.
