We first met Allison Merz Black and her husband Mike Black in 2014 in Houston, TX. At the boat show, we were introduced to them as they presented themselves as boat enthusiasts and claimed they knew more about the boating industry than most people. After we sat down together after the event of the 63rd annual boat show Mr. and Mrs. Black told us that they had a great deal and the inside scoop on a fishing boat. They showed us pictures of them on boats and many pics of them on the river where they supposedly lived in Matagorda Texas.
Allison was cool and soft spoken and seemed to be a trustworthy person. Well we were very wrong. Her and her husband talked us into buying one of their boats and another speed boat for $175,000 total. We were suppose to get the boats delivered to our residense in Houston. But after we gave them a deposit check for $50,000 we should have been weary of the fact that they said that one of the boats was going to be cleaned and would take another couple weeks for delivery of both boats.
We met with them again in Pearland to make more arrangements. and after many conversations we finally made another payment of $100,000. We wanted to hold on to the balance of the amount till they delivered the boats.
Well after a few weeeks of lies, we kept on calling them and they would start avoiding our calls. Their phone number is 281-536-8481. More weeks would go by and we got frustrated as we started to know that they were both scam artists. Now after so much time has gone by we were told that the statute of limitations prevents us from any trying to get our money back from those scam artists.
Me and my wife would like everyone to know that Allison Merz Black and Mr. Mike Black are nothing but a bunch of crooks who will hoodwink anybody for money. It is obvious that they scam people as they don't work and we found out that they live on a river living well off from other peoples moneys. I'm trying to be calm but I just get mad everytime I think of how they scammed my family acting like they were christian folks and all. Well for everybody out there please don't get fooled by them. I don't know how many other people they scammed but don't get fooled by them by any means. At least me and my wife saved the $25,000 that's how we look at it now. God Bless
