Allegro Skin Care Reviews

I received the letter from Dar Waterfront stating that I owe $70.04 and didn't say who I owed it to.

So I called the 800 number in your letter and the message mentioned Allegro (sic???). I do not know what this is for and I refuse to pay this bill. I have never received any bill or information from a company called Allegro!!!

In November 2007 my husband and I while vacationing in Mexico purchased a time share with Allegro Vacation Club. For the first few years we enjoyed the timeshare and went on several vacations until their all inclusive fees became outrageous and you could not afford to go. It should be said that we paid $30,000.00 US cash for this timeshare.

In 2010 when my husband got ill we looked for ways to get rid of this timeshare and avoid paying anymore maintenance fees. As these timeshares are virtually not worth anything we were not looking to sell it just get rid of it. My husband passed away in 2010 and I kept paying the maintenance fees so I could transfer weeks over to RCI and we could vacation anywhere in the world and use RCI hotels. Well that soon became too expensive because of transfer fees etc. Well in 2016 I did not pay the maintenace fees and of course they kept threating me and finally they turned my file over to resort recovery solutions.

So in late 2016 we paid all of the fees owing to resort recovery solutions to get my credit rating restored. i also contacted Allegro and told then that I just wanted to surrender my timshare and get them out of my life and of course being the money grabbers that they are they said I had to pay my 2017 fees. So I did that in February 2017 and told them to send me the necessary paper work to release this timeshare. I have been sending e-mails every few weeks to get this paperwork done and to this day this has not happened.

Well tonight I get a call from another part of the Allegro club telling me that my file has again been turned over to resort recovery and i asked the person why and they said I don't know, you will have to talk to resort recovery. Well over my dead body am I giving this company any more money. I am done. If they will not send the proper forms then so be it I haved my e-mails saying that I have surrended the timeshare.

I want people to know do not purchase a timshare from Allegro. They are the biggest scam artists out there and all they want is your money they do not care about your vacations they just want to rope you in.

I ordered 1 sample and paid the postage for the sample with my credit card discovered that they had sent me a second sample and charged me for postage. On April 1 I want to see a charge on my bank account for $51.50 and $54.50. I mailed the entire unopened products back, I have not used either one of them. I've been waiting on a refund & I did not get one. I called today and they will only refund me a total of $21.80 and $20.60. There was not anything to agree to for further purchases or further charges on the internet site. I paid for the sample size I should not of been billed $54.50 and $51.50 i the first place now they are not willing to give me any more than half or less than half of what was illegally taken from my bank account.

This is my story. I saw the advertisemnt for this skin care supposably recommended by Lori Grenier from Sharktank. Went on the website. started the order process for a 2 week "free" trial. I put in my information including credit card info. Then I saw the terms options so I clicked on it and read it. It said after 2 weeks the charge would be $103, so I decided I would not fall for this again, yes again. Should have known better. So I logged out of the website, I did not submit my order. My mistake I should have deleted my info. A week later I recieved the order. Humm I thought I will try it then call and cancel. So when I called to cancel, within the 2 weeks of recieving, I was told my 2 weeks trial started on the day of the order and I was already charged the $103, but I could continue with a discount price of $59. Whoa, I was already charged the $103! I will be contacting my credit card to dispute these charges and of course I cancelled all further orders. This is the scam, not just from this company, any company that offers free trials, They automatically charge the full amount way before you could possible have even had time to complete the trial and make a decision. The skin care itself, well 2 weeks is to short to determine, it seems OK, I just will not pay this much for skin care. The reason I did not submit the order originally. Please beware of this and all free trial offers, they are never free!
