Bryn Albee, a Childrens Youth Services case worker, came to my house after several calls were made to their department regarding the safety of My nephews children. My nephew and his wife are both heroin addicts. The caseworker told us that the parents were not to be alone with the kids and my wife and I were to.make.sure they were not on drugs while.they were around the children. A week and a half later I tried calling the caseworker and her supervisor regarding the 2 year old neding to.go to a doctor. After several days and calls she finally called me back and told me that my nephew or his wife had custody and one.of.them had to take the child to the doctor. I told her that I had told.the parents about the issue on 3 separate occasions and nothing was done. I don't understand how the caseworker can give custody to a couple of heroin addicts before they entered rehab or proved themselves to be worthy parents.
