I had a similar experience with Joe Bardales. He also showed up at my house and took a deposit check. Then for two weeks he claimed issues on other jobs and the weather. After about 10 days of not showing up, he said he would be leaving for my house from West Palm Beach at 7 a.m. that day, but that materials cost him $290 more than he expected and he needed this additional money. He had already cashed my 50% deposit check for $715. It has been 15 days and he has not shown up to install the fence and now he does not return calls or texts. He lists this address: 2162 Laura Lane, West Palm Beach which according to Google Maps is a residence. This may or may not be his residence. As the address and phone number are the same as listed on the complaint of the person he previously scammed above, he is at least still maintaining this phone number.
This review is the second complaint I have located on the internet. The first complaint appears in another online fraud reporting site and relays where he took a check from a female customer, disappeared for two weeks and finally returned her money. Clearly, the individual above did not have the same favorable outcome with Joe Bardales. If anyone else has had a negative experience with Joe Bardales, please post on this site and get in touch with me. Thank you.
I signed a contract with All Your Fencing Needs on May 20, 2018 to do a fence repair. I met with the owner, Mr. Joseph Bardales. He showed up at my home to take a deposit to do the repair and then never returned. After weeks of trying to contact him through several layers of communication he tried to say that he was having some personal troubles and then never came back. I never heard from him again.
This individual - Joe Bardales - is now operating under another company name but still cheating customers out of a deposit. I had a similar experience where he took a deposit check for $715 and never returned to complete the job claiming personal issues on another job site and the weather. After 10 days he called for an additional $290 claiming the cost of materials were more than he planned - even though he presents a contract to the customer that states that the cost of installation will only increase if a delay in installation is cause by any circumstances other than his company. He also appear to no longer have a current, renew license to operate this business. The address listed for him is a residence in West Palm Beach - which may or may not be legit - and he does answer to the same phone number.
