All Inclusive Real Estate approved my friend for a duplex rental. I loaned my friend $1950 for the holding deposit, which I felt was too high. I rushed down to get the money to them on a Friday to hold the unit and keep it off the market. I read the paper my friend signed and it said that the holding deposit of $1950.00 would be held for 7 days while All INclusive made their decision with the owner. After the 7 days, if we changed our mind, we would be charged 32.50 per day for it being off the market. But if THEY DENIED US, WE WOULD GET ALL OF THE $1950 refunded. After reading the paper I felt uneasy and convinced my friend to go get the money back. When we tried to get it back, they sent us into a conference room where Gary Burmaster convinced me to be added on to the application since I watch my friends house alot while hes out of town on business. telling us that it would only help since its more money for rent to ad my income on... we did not withdraw the application, as they were going to charge us 32.50 already for the weekend...even though they arent open on the weekends and did not take the property off the market, which was why they were going to charge us. after seven days, they denied my application and then would not refund my money. they made me wait through the weekend after denying me and then charged me for those three days as well, even when they said they would not. they took $325.00 out of my $1950.00 when they denied me. I want my money back, they are shady and scandelous. they also charge a non refundable $300.00 dog deposit...not allowed to do that in CA
