AIO were quite frankly the worst experience we have ever encountered not only from a moving firm, but from any service provider we have ever dealt with.

We would NOT RECOMMEND anyone use such an unprofessional firm - the cost to replace or repair some damaged or lost items can be calculated; but some items of sentimental value can not be replaced, and the emotional distress they caused my family is immeasurable.

What's so galling is that they have never sincerely apologized or seemed to care about the precious property which they were damaging or the distress that they were causing.

1) AIO is obviously running a financial scam: lowballing quotes to hook me in, tearing up a signed contract that stipulated a fixed price, and then blackmailing me into paying an additional near $4,000 price through the threat of holding onto and not delivering my inventory if I didn’t accede to AIO’s demands.

2) AIO totally disrespected and mishandled my property – either severely damaging or losing over twenty pieces; The cost to repair or replace will likely be at least $6,000, and the time and hassle involved will be lengthy and disruptive, and at any rate it's unlikely that the patina of the wood or cloth of the chairs can be precisely matched.

Heavy dents to dining table; snapped off leg to dining table chair; Snapped off slats of coffee table; Dents to dressers; 6 Dents to bookcase; Broken pieces of chandeliers (one of which was packed up by AIO with no padding inside or labeled FRAGILE on the outside),Broke both plastic side protectors to the gym equipment; Bent one of the wheels of the BBQ so that it now stands lop-sided and one can’t move it; Glass handmade octopus – birthday present for my son – one tentacle snapped off; and a garden container based snapped off.

Two crystal wine glasses (one the stem was broken, and the other chipped so badly at the rim, both have to be thrown away and replaced);

Most boxes marked FRAGILE were either heavily dented or crushed, including one containing my son’s 32 inch TV which is now ruined – and one containing his school artwork.

Items Lost; • Nest of 2 Garden side tables - lost both glass tops, and two of four of one of the leg bases (now have to buy a new set), • Unique Dalton porcelain British Bulldog – limited edition

3) AIO is atrocious at communication and clearly has no concept of customer service or cares that the client is in distress; They were slow to respond to emails and voice messages; Put the phone down and cut off my call mid conversation when you complain; Deliberately employ aggressive foreman who make it clear that unless you do what they say, they will not release my property. I suspect that they are incentivized to so do.

4) AIO subcontracts work to people who are not trained in or physically capable of moving furniture and The AIO foreman in NC conducted no preplanning and lacked any leadership skills

a) to unload, unpack and assemble furniture that filled a 53 foot container the AIO foreman hired only three helpers (two overweight ladies and an elderly man) who arrived 90 minutes late.

b) The ladies were incapable of lifting anything but small items, and the elderly man and one of the women were both in extremely poor health. The man collapsed after an hour and struggled to complete the dayI had to take over and ensure that more workers were hired.

c) Two of the movers (they weren't AIO employees) took the initiative and called and brought in their son and son-in-law to help out. But if these additional guys hadn’t arrived it would have been even more of a shambles that it already was.

d) None of the non-AIO movers appeared to have been known or pre-vetted by AIO.

5) AIO forced the Client to take an active part in the unloading: due to the lack of resources of the destination team, my wife, son and I had to take part in lifting heavy boxes, as a result of which we both now feel exhausted and sore.

6) AIO Didn’t complete the move. They deliberately refused (they ran out of time and refused to come back the next day as they had another job) to

a) move 20 boxes that had been left in the wrong rooms;

b) move heavy carpets to a different part of the garage;

c) reassemble 2 aluminium shelves needed to be assembled;

d) unpack, 2 TV’s one which had to be wall mounted.

e) reassmble a desk – meant lifting off the top of heavy desk top and reconnecting 3 sides

7) Left a mess: They refused to clear and take away the mound of wrapping paper, tape, empty cans of coke and water bottles and uneaten food (all of which I provided for the team) from a shared driveway.

Based on my experience, I would caution anyone considering using AIO. I would recommend that the industry associations investigate this unprofessional firm that is giving the industry a bad name.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I was told that All In One was the actual movers by their reservations rep, only to find out that they contract out their jobs. I was told that because my apartment was on the 2nd floor, it was included, only to find out it's only 8 steps....anything over is an extra charge. I've never lived anywhere that had 8 steps to the 2nd floor. When I called to speak with our rep, he didn't care (although he seemed so attentive prior to making my reservation) and told me if I had complained, he couldn't do anything and I'd need to call customer service.

The movers parked in front of a fire hydrant and got a ticket immediately, then made us pay it before they would unload anything. Several of our new boxes were totally messed up. One of the worst moving companies! I should have BEVER used them, they also Bait and Switch these people need to be shut down, they are crimminals and con artists
