We purchased a POS system in April 2016 thru a authorized Alselo Reseller Boston POS locked at 459 Broadway Everett MA. We paid about $4 thousand dollars for the Pizza POS / Restaraunt Point Of Sale System. Included in that price was $500 onsite training fee. Marcos Gilson is the owner of Boston POS his tel number is 617-216-9882. He also asked us the sign up with his credit card processing company. Which to date we have not had any issues with. It is now 60 days after the initial install ( May 25 th 2016) Marcos Gilson of Boston POS will not come and train is and will not fix the errors that he made setting up our menu on the Pos system. I have contacted my Credit Card company to dispute the charges. I also contacted Jeff Moore at Aldelo [email protected]. I asked him to help as Boston POS is a authorized reseller of Aldelo POS. He basically said I am on my own I need to deal with Boston POS Gilson Marcos 617-216-9882. I told Jeff Moore that I am not happy with hat decision then he replied well you are trying to charge him back and there is nothing Aldelo Pos can do about it. Now I have a system that I paid $4 thousand dollars for that I still do not know how to use because we have still not been trained on, and our menu is still wrong! The other reviewers are correct when they at Aldelo POS is not a good system. do not hire Boston POS Gilson Marcos and definetly do not buy a Aldel POS. Spend the extra $1500 and buy a system that actually will work and will support the end user. Do not recommend Aldelo POS or Boston POS to any Resteraunt or pizza shop, deli.

First off I never complain publicly about a company but there is a first for everything. Aldelo POS services is the biggest rip off I have seen. They charge you 1000s of dollars in software then provide no support for the software they develop, unless you want to pay even more $$$. There software is also generic and of poor quality. Here are a couple instances, if your computer updates involve any bit of hardware changes you license needs to be reset, but you can only do this four times a year then they will charge you. If you are busy and you have someone closing a bank or drawer get ready to wait for at least an hour. Not only does it add unproductive man hours but also hangs up a license already paid for. When you call for support, if you can find their number they have a number on their website that doesn’t even work, they will refuse to talk about anything but the fact you do not pay for the tech support. In my opinion I already paid for their support with purchase of their software and licenses. I personally did not purchase the software the bar owner did. I am just the guy who had to set it up and has to maintain it now. Their blatant lack of wanting to help the folks that buy their software is ridiculous. I am currently looking for a new software provider and would recommend everyone buying a Point of Sale service to stray far far away from Aldelo.

My advice to Aldelo is if you want to charge for support and for helping your customers give your generic/ Micros wannbe software away for free and then charge them for support. Either that or give support away for free and charge for the licenses but not both. You are destroying your reputation for GREED.
