On November 12th 2019 I bought a vehicle from Albi Auto Sales LLC. I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse for $8500 cash. Sami told me the car had hail damage and would have salvage title. After checking with me home state, Ohio that told me I would be able to title the vehicle after completing an out of state inspection.
Sami did not have the title at the time I bought the car and stated he would mail the title to me within the week. A week went by and I received the title as promised. I proceeded to the Ohio title office to complete my out of state inspection, and was told the title that I had was not a salvage title, but a title of destruction.
This means the only thing I could do with the car was part it out or sell it to a junk yard. I called Sami to where he refused to refund me the money I had paid for the car. Mind you I had put another $1,100 in the car since buying it to make it road worthy.
So now I am out $9,600 and Sami wants to tell me there is nothing he could do for me. Fast forward about 10-15 minutes we talk again and he tells me the best he can do is $7,000. I am not asking for the hole $9,600 back just my original $8,500. Stay away from this shady car lot, come to find out all they deal in is Copart salvage cars that not all states will title.
