We moved from New Orleans to Dallas. We were supposed to have our stuff picked up on 6/29/16, they picked it up on 7/1 (after our lease ran out). Our items were supposed to sit in storage for two months and then deliverd on Saturday Sept 3rd. It is now Sept 7th and we still do not have our stuff.
ALB will not communicate with me and when they do, they provide a false delivery date. I spoke with them weeks and days leading up to the delivery date of the 3rd to ensure they would be there. Everytime, "yep, i promise". My delivery date rolls around and CLAUDIA DUARTE calls and says its now going to be Tues the 6th delivery. Needless to say I was very upset because I am sitting in an empty house we just moved in to with nowhere else to go. Tuesday the 6th rolls around, nothing. I call and they said it would be here today (the 7th), but I doubt that is going to happen either.
I booked them through Angel Van Lines (do not use these guys either). Angel never said anything about ALB, but instead made it seem like I would be dealing with Angel the whole times. Unfortuantely, they contracted my job out to ALB. After ALB showed up for pickup about 2 days late after they promised to be there on June 29th. ALB showed up on July 1st causing immense stress because my wife and I lost valuable time that we were going to use to prep for our new careers and house shop.
However, dealing with their BS during the pick up is a walk in the park compared to the hell they are putting us through now for the delivery, or lackthereof.
The main perpetrators are Miguel Alberti CLAUDIA DUARTE. These people will tell you exactly what you want to hear, and it is a bold face lie everytime.
To top it all off, I got a call from another recent customer of ALB and said he had a box of my stuff (he called my cell because it was on an old dog collar tag). He tells me his stuff finally got delievered after going through a similar ordeal. He has 8 boxes missing and his antique furniture is all damaged. So this pathetic company must be just throwing stuff in a storage unit and taking it out whilly nilly. This guy has already started a civil action lawsuit and I might start one too.
