This company was scheduled to come to my house to service my air conditioner. The scheduled time was from 10-1. I called shortly after 10 to ask if they could possibly narrow down the time the technician would actually be able to arrive at my home. ( Not complete the service but actually arrive) I was put on hold several times, Each time she would come back she would ask my general questions such as my fist name or what was my slot time. She came back on the 5th time and I asked her what I was holding for( as she hadn't taken any information to locate my appointment) She said she had other callers and then put me back on hold. I hung up, I called back to get a different agent and It went straight to hold music. I then blocked my number and called back and she promptly answered. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. Mr. Atwell got on the phone. I explained the situation and he started to get rude.
He said well you are not going to get better than a 3 hour window for you appointment time. Just because they are schedulde for the 3 hour window does not mean they will complete the work in 3 hours. I understood this. The window was just for them to show up at my house. He started getting condesencding with me about the appointment times. I told him about the issue that I had with customer service, not even being able to collect the right information before she put me on hold multiple times. He stated that he was sorry that his customer service had failed me and my expectations but I have to understand that it is busy and it is that time of the season, and that i should be more understanding. The hold message this company has been in service since the 70's, I even told him I am sorry that you are having growing pains with customer service.
He went on to be rude and say that I was being unreasonable with his customer serivice. I was done being patronized and I said you know nevermind, I'll just wait for your technician and me done with your company! He started to be rude and said you are still being unreasonable. I wait and waited for this company to show up, they never showed up. Come to find out he cancelled my appt. I am glad they thought it was a good idea to cancell my appointment leaving me and my infant daughter to scramble to find another company to come out on short notice in 112 degree heat. I am sure this company has no morals what so ever, if they could just leave me and my infant daughter in sweletering heat due to the fact that I asked to speak to him as customer service was overwhelmed and could not assist me. I am sure he doesn't know what supervisors jobs are.
