I have been a longtime subscriber, but when I switch to notify only, the services tank and they charge you hidden fees like refurbishing fees that were not disclosed on the initial contract. They keep saying it's on the website. And once you go to the refundalarm.com website for refunds, beware you cannot reverse or contact anyone to stop the $50.00 access charge. I will be filing a complaint with the WA State Attorney General's Office.
This company is a complete scam. I ordered service, once i got the equipment I had to call them to set it up, their system could not set up with mu system and the guy on the phone told me to "get a new alarm system, then we can monitor it" So now after returning the equipment they are trying to charge me to refurbish the equipment i was never able to use. The response today to that is, "well you signed a lease didnt you" I suppose i did but i also was told that i was leasing equipment that would work for monitoring my system. I've found some pretty poor reviews stating the same, i believe this company is in business to fleece their "customers" for "fees" unacceptabl
This company took my money (prepaid for one year's worth of services) and their equipment DID NOT WORK for monitoring our elevator. We called them and they did not resolve the issue. I spent money on technicians and IT guys and no one could get their device to work. And yet they did not offer a refund and continued to bill me after the one year had ended.
When I tried to cancel, their little link did NOT work and would not cancel my service. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! These guys do not believe in being FAIR or even in providing service! Now they want $1700 FOR A SERVICE THEY'VE NEVER PROVIDED and that I cannot cancel!!!!!! Look at all the complaints against this awful company.
They treat you like dirt and just want to trick you into a contract so they can pursue you legally. That's their business model!!!! I will SUE them if they report me to credit!!!!!!! The way they talked to me at a time of world crisis especially (CoVid19) while other companies are like my own are forgiving client debts and waiving payments -- says it ALL!
